I was thinking about Statting these out but I thought I'd check to see if anyone has already done that.

According to some sources it is a single unique droid and in other sources they're a failed line of droids so multiple versions exist.

The C2-R4 series had had the body of an R2 unit, a number of bulbs and appendages (such as whip-like extensors) on its sides, and an opening in the middle of its face with a grill and seemingly, a set of sharp teeth. The droid had many capabilities including catalytic fuel conversion, enzymatic composition breakdown, bacterial composting acceleration, and chemical diagnostic programming as well as meal preparation, toaster oven, bang-corn air-popper, and blender. C2-R4s also had the programming of a protocol unit, enabling them to speak in Basic instead of Binary.

I found a more detailed entry in Star Wars the Essential Guide to Droids but alas, still no actual stats.

I had a go at statting this out. The attributes come directly from the R4 droid which I believe the chassis is taken from and the rest are a rough average of a power droid a cooking droid and the original astromech.

My idea is that this might actually make a droid with a lot of dice in various skills (AKA a generalist) so it fails to work as most droids do and be very good at one or two things and terrible at everything else (AKA a specalist).

This, combined with the fact that it is only pretty good (4D or worse in most cases) at the things it is supposed to be good at means that it is better to have a few specialised droids rather than one generalist.

I imagine these are quite pricey.
What is their market value, and in which markets?
Who made them?
Why are they "Not available for sale"?

The C2-R4 was a multi-purpose droid built by a Squib droid consortium in an attempt to make a droid capable of accomplishing practically any task. Therefore, it was not unsurprising that it was considered a failure, as the final product was an ugly jack-of-all-trades design with no real purpose in mind. Given its generally disastrous performance on the open market, such models are usually kept around as conversation pieces rather than actively in service.

At some point they had a price tag but the market research was lacking so the droids were not marketed to a specific market (instead they were branded a multi-purpose droid) but now they are no longer being produced so they don't have a price tag because the price would be 'By Negotiation' and only then if you could find a seller.
