Background: Thurlow Harris grew up surrounded by the war—his father a decorated Rebel captain, his youth spent in refugee zones and makeshift bunkers. Long driven to prove himself, he joined the Alliance and trained at Kolaador Flight Center, where he was considered capable but emotionally volatile. Though he proved a daring pilot in operations over Tatooine and Yavin, his nerves often frayed under pressure.
Following the destruction of the Death Star, Harris allowed optimism to overrule caution. Believing the war nearly won, he returned to Centares to share the victory with his people—only to fall into a trap. Captured by Imperial agents and tortured by Darth Vader himself, Harris broke. His shame at revealing Luke Skywalker's identity would haunt him for the rest of his brief life. He met his end at the hands of the bounty hunter Mala Mala, who silenced him after realizing what his betrayal had unleashed.
Personality: Driven and eager, but emotionally impulsive. Haunted by guilt and the weight of legacy. Possessed a keen sense of loyalty, which tragically failed under extreme duress. Fiercely admired Luke Skywalker, making his eventual betrayal all the more devastating.
