Background: An experienced pilot and tactician, Ru Murleen trained many of the Alliance's best pilots—including Rookie One—at the Kolaador Flight Center. Murleen led multiple daring missions early in the war and became known for her balance of hard pragmatism and fierce loyalty to her wingmates. She played a pivotal role in leading the strike team that disabled the Star Destroyer above Tatooine and was active at the Battle of Yavin.
