I thought I'd post this since I find it pretty handy.

My group focuses on Role Playing far more then combat, so we developed a new system for combat to speed it up.

1. GM chooses order of actions, NPCs and PCs act in order of GMs choosing

2. All actions for a player is declared at once.

3. Characters can combine fire (at +2D per ally) with an MODERATE command roll, +5 per each extera NPC. No roll needed to combine with other PCs (just permission, as combining fire uses up the extera character's whole turn).

4. Most non-major NPCs don't roll wild dice in combat (my players don't like the wild die in the first place, but I keep it for non-combat NPCs and Major villans anyway).

I'd love to hear any sugestions you have for this system or any comments.
