I have no idea about the stats for a lot of droids I've faced, like one in particular, ever heard of the T-X Exocutioner or something like that? A long time ago our group fought an insane Verpine with one, and it kicked our @$$3$. Could prolly smash it now though... Plus some crazy strong android with 1337 martial arts skiilz.

You should pick up Cynabar's Fantastic Technology: Droids. It has stats for quite a few droids as well as a ton of general droid info, too. There is a GX Security Droid, maybe that's what you're thinking of...

No I'm pretty sure that it was some sort of heavily equiped battle droid with a flamethrower (made our wookiee hairless), vibroaxe, whip (whiped off my fingers), and some blaster stuff, deffinately not a gaurd. Also I've never seen that book, and am unfortunately pretty low on cash.

AH!!! The Gladiator X Droid!!! It's in the "Han Solo In The Corporate Sector" Sourcebook. Darn fine book in my opinion... Lots of fun toys including a staple for my group...

GLOP GRENADES!!!

The Gladiator X isn't so tough... A Basic Labour Droid (BLX Series to be exact) took one out all by himself.

Fine books, the Han Solo Trilogy (The old one, published just after Star Wars: A New Hope came out), and I believe that I just saw them re-relased in a single book at the store.

I'm not sure about that either, did it roll on 1 weel and have all those weapons? Plus I'm pretty sure it was called and Exocutioner of some kind...

Really?
I never thought they looked that bad…the R5’s and R7’s are the ones that I always though looked kind of stupid.
Anywho, I was wonder what there official stats where so I could compare them to the description given in the “Essential Guide” book; because if they are anything like their description they are pretty sweet.

Es, that's the one I'm refering to... Of course, it didn't turn out that way in my head when I read about it...

Crell... It got it's chassis kicked by a LABOUR DROID. I rest my case.

And SoF, the entire R-Series of Astromechs is in one of the Adventure Journals... My GM owns it... I'll see about getting my grubby little mitts on it later, but no promises.

And R5s are supposed to look stupid... They're cheap little pieces of S*** that you can't throw out for the life of you... And crank up the Verpine Chamber Music on the Music System at any reason.

Woah... I guess that's it... Looks stupider than I had imagined, sort of like it's weapons came out of it but nooooooo.
Question Oh, and how did you pound it with a labour droid? Our wookiee was smashing it, and only dented it.

Ur, wasn't my Labour Droid. It's from one of the *REALLY* earily novels...

Let me just reach into my library here and... NOT AGAIN!!!

OK... Now that I've dug myself out... Here we go, "Han Solo at Stars' End", circa 1979!!! Han Solo in the Corporate Sector is the sourcebook for this...

He ends up getting stuck with BLX, a Labour droid that's a bit more than you'd think... He's also been working for a few centuries (He's a touch out of date, like everything else in the CSA)... But the only combat experience he has is in digging latrines. Laughing

The Mark X Gladiator never stood a chance.

I always saw the thing as a squat, tanklike droid... Something like the "Spinner" robots in those Robot Wars Games... With arms.

I think the Artist of the pic (It's in the "Essential Guide to Droids" or somesuch) took a bit too much poetic licence.

As for how BLX took it out... Tactics.

The R5 was the Droid in ANH that Owen Lars bought that blew up because of a “bad motivator”.

Well, since I don’t have that book I will have to depend on the kindness of other to see if they measure up to their description.

Now all I have to do is to wait for some R5's and I'm set.
