I use Lightsaber Parry instead of Lightsaber Combat. No one in our group likes LS Combat anyway (since it's a two-roll power.) |

Do you allow them do do things like parry blaster bolts with this skill? |

Yes. I let the Jedi add or subtract Control to the damage for free (like First Edition.) |

				| FX, what if the standard human was a Sabre Rake from the Tapani Sector where Lightfoils are used? There IS precedent WITHIN THE GAME for non-force using lightsabre wielders. |

In that case, I'd say Ok. (After reading up on it first, of course.) Does this come from "Lords of the Expanse?" |

				| There is mention of it in Players Guide to Tapani, though chances are there's more in depth info in Lords of the Expanse. |

I don't have my books with me now but they were basically cheap versions of lightsabers. |

				| Yes, Tapani Lightfoils are unreliable devices. A roll of 1 on the Wild Die means the blade has shorted out and will require two hours and a Moderate Lightsabre Repair roll to get it working again. |

And 3D-4D damage as well, depending on construction. |
