"I'll have to keep an eye out for quality refreshments and rations, then," he remarks. Corric looks up as first the Besalisk and then Cal and Zerran re-enter the lounge area. As Cal sits down across from him at the large table with the case, Corric watches curiously. As Cal speaks of lightsabers, Corric frowns. When Cal hands Bandon a lightsaber, Corric's eyes go wide again. I never saw that when he and I were working on the dream...and I'd definitely have noticed it, he thinks. I doubt anyone outside of this crew realizes...well, whatever it is that would be realized if someone noticed that half the crew of the Dream are carrying lightsabers.
"Cal? You mind explaining just what's going on here?" he asks, obviously a little unsettled.

Cal blushes a little, though still engrossed in studying the case. "Thank you, Bandon. I just know what it's like to be without your lightsabers, although not with any possessed by a long-dead Sith lord. I'd rather have you wielding a weapon you're better with anyway, and as a Jedi you deserve to have one."
Cal shrugs absently at Corric's question. "What exactly do you refer to? I'm trying to get into this case Toba gave me so we can see what's inside. If you're referring to what I just gave Bandon, you are probably correct in whatever suspicions you have: he and I are Jedi, albeit lowly Padawans. We might even be the last of the entire Order; who knows? But his lightsabers contain the spirit of a dead Sith lord, and if they're separated for too long, that Sith will come back, and then we'll all be in deep poodoo." |

Corric looks as though he's just been slapped. This may be "Situation: Normal" for everyone else, but he thought the Jedi had been exterminated in their entirety for picking a fight with the Emperor, and this is a bit of a shock to him.
"Who else knows?" he asks, staring at the meditating Bandon and the lightsaber on his belt.

Looking at Cal, Corric nods slowly, recovering a bit. "So just the crew of the Dream knows, then. That's very likely for the best, I would think."
He turns back to Bandon, saying, "Well, Jedi or no, it's good to meet you face-to-face, Mr. Terrick. Hopefully the Jedi will someday be able to be proud of who they are and not be forced to hide from persecution." Corric doesn't sound convinced.
What have I gotten myself into? he thinks.

Zerran takes the conversations in and says "I have heard what skills Cal possess in the force, I was wondering what skills you posses. I am able to teach you a technique that will let you hide from the force, so that people like darth vader will not be able to find you." looking a Bandon.
