It's from Houserules on their website.
To give more variety to the lifeforms, rather than everyone being Carbon-Based.
Klug, a "Gelatinid" in my group's Scouts Campaign, isn't one, and is affected by drugs very differently... Actually, they'll probably have no effect on him.
Eating a Blast Door, now, that has an effect on him...

Yeah I always thought there should be that sort of variety I think the Venthree (that stone golem looking races) might be silicon based. But other than that everyone seems to be carbon based.
Can you posed Klug's stats and stuff I always like more info in different and unusual species. Even if it is homebrew

No can do, Es, the GM is holding his cards close to his chest on Klug.
Seems to worry that we'd keep bugging him to use them.
"Brawling: Jel-Fu" at a rather insane amount, and the ability to turn oneself into blunt, knives, and stabbing weapons tends to make GMs nervous.
720 Degree Echolocation Vision System with an insane Perception makes matters worse.
Finally, THEY CAN EAT BLAST DOORS!!! That's reason enough to be scared of them.
Now, mind you, if they eat too many, they'll ruin their appetites for Core Samples...

I'm imagining a giant translucent slug or rather amoeba as slugs are rather fixed in their shape.
So how does he/she/klug communicate. |

More like Mobile Jello
For talking, he "Inhales" an air pocket into himself, then "Exhales" in a manner similar to a Voice Box. It's uncomfortable, and after he's done he tends to exhale, making a sound similar to a deflating balloon or a whoopie cushon.
And, shouldn't we be getting a new Subject for this, as this has nothing to do with Spice or other drugs. |
