I'm just curious what kind of connection everyone has. If people are using dial-up connections to read the forums, I'd rather not make the avatar file size too large.

Actually I have 56k modem, but my connection is 28.8k. If I use the work account (which will rarely happen) I'm up to 56k.

DSL here. Great system, even if I did just get it so that I didn't tie up the phone line constantly...

I have dial-up now, but as soon as I get my new computer, I will be connecting via cable modem!

My current computer is soooo jacked, I can't even get it to recognize the ethernet card I installed... So, Dude is gettin' a Dell!

DSL. Though I know from another forum that some folks like to try and take their laptops on vacation so they can visit the forum and they may not always be able to use DSL on their laptop while on vacation whereas they may be able to do so at their home.
