Rathe Ehtar here, as per the request of Ragnar, I am starting this post to set up the stage for my new adventure titled above. Ragnar's story has come to a close but it is only the beginning for some new heros.

First a brief look at some major events in my universe.

Ragnar the infamous outlaw and pirate, encounters a nasty pirate band that has partnered up with the local Imperials. Moff Richter Tesren, a scientist at heart, uses the pirates to fund his special projects long after the Pentastar Alignment has cut off his funding. His latest work, is a superlaser designed for star destroyers(a direct predecessor for the twilight class Star Destroyer). His current interest is the ruins of an ancient alien culture.

Ragnar comes into the mess after rescueing a Xenoarchealogist who has discovered the whereabouts of a energy magnifying crystal that mustn't get into Tesren's hands. Just as they find the crystal, Tesren enters the scene accompanied by his loyal space pirates and they make off with the crystal. He quickly Uses this crystal to magnify the super laser. In short, he is now capable of fireing a planet killing beam every other round at only minimal power.(That's why every other round) Also, he builds a ship around this superlaser, which he calls the Dark Star.

Now, Ragnar's last season involves an infiltration of Tesren's fleet and eventually getting onboard the Dark Star. While Ragnar eludes detection and plans his sabotage, Moff Tesren takes his fleet and his Ssi-ruuk allies to the Coruscant system. He alerts all factions, the New Order, the Pentastar Alignment and the New Republic of his intentions to spred chaos throughout the galaxy, starting with the destruction of Coruscant. All three join together to stop this threat, but all hope lies on Ragnar.
The Dark Star is a very advanced Cruiser. It manuevers gracefully around vessels and the Omega TIE squadron destroy all fighter resistance, but Tesren is arrogant and has no idea that Ragnar is on board. His first target is his former leader, Grand Moff Ardus Kaine of the Pentastar Alignment. His beam destroys the Grand Moff's super star destroyer with ease. However, Ragnar has placed explosives on the super laser's main power generators, which go off just as the laser is fired. While the weapon is not destroyed, in order to fire power must be taken from auxillary systems. Ragnar sabotages the crystal chamber, which focus' the beam. Without the safety mechanisms in place the beam energy sprays in all directions. Tesren, in his haste to destroy Coruscant gives the order to fire and bypass all safety. His last order before the ship explodes. Ragnar escapes and all is well.
The battle took its toll on all sides. The Alignment lost its greatest leader, the Emperor 'in all but name' was destroyed when his ship was hit by a Deathbringer, a soul charged droid war head armed with shields and weapons to defend itself. Admiral Ackbar sacrificed his ship and crew to collide with one of these warheads that targeted the planet. (Sorry.)
This battle, know as the Battle to Save Coruscant set the stage for the future peace meetings between the Pentastar Alignment and the New Republic.
Nine months after the battle, the cast of the series is gathered at Ragnar's Youth Foundation for a dedacation ceremony in Ragnar's honor. Afterwards, Ragnar, his love Kayura and their child Flint return to the Ragnar homestead. Bounty hunters and mercenaries attack the house forcing Ragnar to fight one more time. After the smoke clears he realizes in order to protect those he loves he must leave.
18 years later, after harsh battles with the Empire, the New Republic has finally taken Coruscant and the fiefdoms of the remnant Imperial Forces have been absorbed into one force or the other, peace may soon be at hand between the Pentastar Alignment and the New Republic.
It is a time of prosperity as new advances is starship technology(thanks to Ragnar) greatly improve ship efficiency. For some it is a time to dread. Seperatists, rebels of the New Republic will not stand to have peace with those they have been at war with for so long. Many have thier own reasons for joining the seperatists, but whatever they are the rebels are seen as pirates and criminals by both sides. They are constantly plotting against the New Republic's attempt at peace.
At the same time, the Pentastar Alignment is gearing for peace, but many in the Alignment wish to follow in Grand Moff Kaine's ideals of conquest and domination. A secret web of conspiritors weeves throughout the Alignment. Their plans are yet to be discovered...

The heros of this game are the decendants of the current heros. Ragnar will be playing Flint the son of Ragnar who is half Eldar and very much like his father. I've had much fun using some of the old GMC's as mentors and, in Flint's case, comic relief. I also get a chance to use races, peoples and ideas only touched in the first story.

Hopfully, as the story gets way, Ragnar and I will tell the story as it unfolds.

So when does the stories of Ragnar take place in terms to the movies? I got confused there. And the events of "Descendants" takes place 18 years after that, correct? Everything sounds cool, except the part where you killed off a major character... Crying or Very sad

My game began in the shadow of the empire period, between a New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. So about ten years after A New Hope Ragnar's story ends. Decendants is about twenty-eight years after A New Hope. I also killed off two Imperial characters in that battle too. Wink

MOG has returned to find so many changes.

Well, sub-lietenant, Terrik, allow me to exlain.

The scene opens to a star fighter battle in progress. The rebels have just sabotaged a SienarRepublic factory and is trying to flee with stolen information. Our heros, Flint and Kira attempt to stop them. Both are young, but are some of the best pilots in the rim. It was touch and go for awile, but Flint disabled the freighter and one of its fighter escort. The other, code named Zero, escaped.

They returned home to Moltern station, owned by Kira's father Sark, where they were met by an estactic Felix. Felix(another pc) is Flint and Kira's childhood friend. He's an experienced enginneer but tongue-tied when it comes to just about everything else. Shortly after arrival, Flint is given a surprise birthday party and the best gift ever, a ship! But not just any ship. Flints uncle Shorty searched high and low for Ragnar's old ship, The Pillage. He purchased it for a steal off some trader in Wroona system. Their were some touching moments. Anyway, after a short trip to Yavin 4 to drop off Kira's younger twin brothers at the Praxiem are adventure really begins.

Our heroes arrive home to hear some shocking news. Ragnar, Flint's father, has just assassinated the prime peace negociator between the New Republic and the Pentastar Alignment. Tensions are mounting and another war may begin. Flint along with Felix take it upon themselves to do something. Ragnar couldn't have possibly done this. The truth is waiting for Flint to find. After upgrading most of the Pillage, all she needs is a compadable nav computer. The only one available is in Kira's ship.
Naturally, Kira catches the theives in the act, but will let them go on two conditions, 1) she comes too and 2)...
the scene cuts to the cockpit where Kira's bobble head, "Wookie-maru" sits on the dashboard. After many laughs from us, Flint gives a heavy sigh at the lil'mascot and a determined look to the stars.

That's the short of it. We were just laughing our asses off the whole time. Flint is the not-so-typical rimmer jack-of-all-trades teenager. Kira, occasional tomboy but your usual boy crazy, gossip loving spoiled rich girl. (played by a guy, funny, funny stuff.) Felix is the all around good friend, nice guy, but very forgetful, clumsy and sort of a nerd. He loves droids and all matter of technology. So far this trio has been a dynamyte team. LoL funny! Laughing
