A ship for my first campaign, for the Smuggler PC, inspired by the Lambda Class shuttle, which as you can tell I absolutely love. Comments welcome, and thanks!

Sweet! For some reason she reminds me of Serenity from the Firefly TV series.

Egad, my fellow protocol-droid! You are exactly right - she IS similar to the Serenity from Firefly. Good show, by the way, and as such naturally all too short-lived. Now we all get to wait 3-4 years for the Star Wars TV series announced recently by Lucas....

Hmm, I really like it. Technically though, I wouldn't call a x2 multiplier HD and 1 month of consumables "short range." Particularly with light freighters, which can always store extra consumables in cargo space (at a loss of profits).

Of course, "short haul" doesn't quite have the same ring, either. Smile

Where'd you come up with the ship? Most of mine I tend to use premade sketches that I edit and I get nothing that good looking when I'm done. If you did that yourself, you're most assuredly a thousand times better than I'll ever be.

The sad truth of the matter is that last Sunday while at my parents' church, I was day-dreaming during the service and came up with that design. I got home and did a few sketches and then built it using Carrara, a low-cost program from a company called Eovia that actually has a TON of features. (Pardon the plug, but I love that program.) So the ship is a product of a short attention span and too much free time, I confess. Embarassed

Sad truth of the matter? I applaud you! Coming up with a neat new freighter design is far more useful than listening to some old money-grubber prattle on about how some god wants us to give the guy money.

...Yeah, it's pretty obvious I despise churches. Anyway, great work. Look forward to more.

Yeah, hokey religions are no match for a good blaster at your side, right? I disagree, there is no match for the power of God.

Anyway, wonderful freighter design. I would love to see what you can do with some of the other sketches and designs floating around on this board.
