Does anyone have the Truce at Bakura source book?
I'm wondering if it has stats on Ssi-ruuk ships, droids, and other Ss-ruuk related stuff.
(I just love that "Stay on target..." quote it works really well for the forums. ) _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne

I don't think anyone would do that willingly.
However the Ssi-ruuk do have very sophisticated brainwashing techniques.
Who knows Ragnar, perhaps you'll want to be a machine |

There was nothing mentioned about that possibility in the book so that would be entirely up to your MOG
However I don't think the Ssi-ruuk ever entrenched anyone with 8 DSPs before though |

I don't think the Ssi-ruuk have any idea what DSPs are. "What is this 'D' you speak of?"
Thanks to Dark Lords of the Sith, I picked up home brewed stats on the K'nass super cruiser. Are there official stats in Truce at Bakura sourcebook? I still want to know if anyone has it. _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne

I've got the Truce at Bakura sourcebook. It's got stats for ships, droids, all kinds of stuff. This would definitely be a good book for you to pick up! _________________ "Mind what you have learned. Save you it can." --Yoda

What would be some good examples of Ssi-ruuk names? _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne

I can only recall one names Ssi-ruuk (there were at least 2 but I can't remember the other's name). The one who did the brainwashing had a name similar to Blueeye... but remember in their language it would be "whistle twitter whistle" |

So, if the Ssi-ruuk don't speak basic, how do they communicate with humans? Do they use translator droids? _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne

They understand basic and humans can understand their language... It can also be translated but as far as I recall there was no mention of the Ssi-ruuk doing it. It was all done on the human side of things.
The human's nickname for the Ssi-ruuk is Fluties due to their whistling language |

So you're telling me that humans in general understand Ssi-ruuk language or that certain individuals know it. I mean, how can you know the language of a people you haven't met?
How long have they been on Bakura to have been given a nickname?
Didn't they try to entrench the people of Bakura? I think Fluties is a soft nickname for ones who steal souls. _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne
