				| Well, at 3.99 for a pack of 100 sleeves, i felt it was worth it.
WEnt to a store today which was doing a 50% off sale (the same one as mentioned earlier) and got a 2nd boxed of imp veterans and a Decimator.. Pity they didn't have a lambda though??

				| For those who play, do you use the offical maps, or have you made your own?
If you made your own, where did you get the material??

				| I've seen repurposed yoga mats and EVA foam sheets used as homemade boards. The best one had a large vinyl poster of our solar system glued to the front. There was quite a shootout around Mars. _________________

				| I got some vinal fabric from a local store for 9$ for a 54 inch by 37 (ish) inch piece.. I will do the 'painting' of a starfield on it, and trim it down to size, though i am thinking of keeping it at 4ft by 3ft, since it's only gonna be used for home games. _________________

I have the FFG official mats, and I just keep them in their original boxes. I used to play on some vinyl mats - which were nice-looking, but the miniatures slid around a bit too much. I had a cardboard tube box that I put those in.

				| Well, i am slated to be Judging four 4hr events of this at Origins this year. One Wed at 2, one Thurs at 2pm, one Fri at 7pm and one Sat at 2pm.
Not only will it be using the HOTAC base rules, but has a few little house rules. One specific for what upgrades are used (so as to keep it in the Rebellion time setting, so none of the stuff that came with the TFA stuff is being used, same for Scum), one for using a "XP pooling" manner of keeping it a "Cooperative game", and one adding additional ships, both for the rebel (players) and imperial side..

So if any of you wish to come along, be my guest.

				| Full disclosure. I work in a game store.
When I first saw this product in our distributors website, I though thought to myself, neat, a miniatures battle game. I bought the first 4 waves of stuff and played it - I wasn't overly impressed by the game. I was satisfied either. I though the game could be a 100 times better.

now that the game is in 2nd edition, I still feel the game is just lacking, in so many areas of depth. Sure strategy table top games have depth but this lacks I don't know, but some how they made the game worse by trying to "fix" it.

I have a serious hatered for games developed by FFG. Even the Star Wars RPG by them is honestly in my opinion is absolute garbage. Sorry, if people like it, I am sure you have your reasons, but when it comes FFG products and their star wars license I feel they don't even try to make a good product.

That's how I feel about X-wing as well. just its so underwhelming, and the mechanics are just ridiculous for a "war game"
