And my characters have to put in their few cents:

"Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Fluffy HUNGRY!!!"

"Crunch am Hungry too! But hubcap of wings not included."

"I could use a nibble. Let me land the ship, and... Oh man, not again." *Crash*

"Why, why was I built with pain receptors? Why can I not free my metal bretherin?"

Because prices vary from one game to the next depending on the state of the Galaxy, you'll have to invent your own prices. Some of the descriptions give clues, but it's basically up to you. You can really make them whatever you want. Imagine how a cheeseburger costs 99 cents at a MacDonalds in Ohio, $1.99 at a bar and grill in Arizona and $6.00 at a pricy restaurant in New York. If that's just one planet, imagine the differences across an entire galaxy! Not to mention that the cheeseburger on planet X might be made with totally different materials than one made on planet Y.

Or even outright illegal on some planets.

Imagine one where the primary religion worshiped Banthas. Suddenly a rack of Bantha Ribs would be considered almost as, if not even more, illegal than Glitterstim Spice!

I've always had the idea of having the characters haul a load of Star Wars version of Molson Canadian onto a planet, only to find out that it's a "Dry Planet". Then I finally got to see "Smokey & The Bandit", and did the traditional "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

All the items are from official sources. I did rework some of the descriptions because not all of them are described in the original source material.

I also have a similar list of swear words, and an infant list of entertainment titles such as holovids, songs and dances ect.

Print those out too! I prefer to keep my universe PG(13) but not everybody does. I'd like to see those lists!

All official Star Wars swears are PG-13. My favorite swear is "Farkle". I made an NPC that liked to say "Blast, we're farkled!" and in one adventure I wrote, during a training exercise a person who failed all 4 subjects was called a "4 star farkle".

I'll post that list too when I get home.

This is incredible! Thanks a lot for those really comprehensive lists. Very Happy

Now I'm at the task of structuring them all into different categories, such as beer-like drinks, cocktails, hard liquor, regional specialities, etc. for drinks. Perhaps this could be included in one of Gry's books? Wink
