Benny, the Tusken Raider

Ok, we had a new player in our group last week. He made a character that had my sides aching from laughter: Benny the Tusken Raider.

Benny's real name is Bo'laa'gaash.

He was exiled from his Tribe when his Bantha perished during his manhood test of hunting a Kryat Dragon. During the battle, his Bantha was killed. Benny slayed the Dragon and was exiled.

He later saved a group of Rebels from a squad of 10 stromtroopers with nothing but his Gaffi stick. The rebels invited Benny to come with them and he accepted. He managed to gain a rudimentry grasp of basic over the next few months.

Then he was given over to the command of my main NPC (Sarge, a rip-off from Aliens' Apone). Sarge decided that he didn'y want to say "Bo'laa'gaash", so he called him "Benny". The PC's were given the task of being part of a mission group that was raiding an Imperial Weapons lab on a remote desert planet.

Well, for whatever reason everyone but Benny decided that they could sneak in through the front door with some Strom Trooper armor that they took from some Sandtroopers that they jumped. Well, Benny decided to infiltrate. He used his Gaffi Stick to scale the side of the complex, making it to the sensor tower.

Everyone else was immediantly captured the second they entered the building.

Benny discovered one lone technican working on the sensor grid. He was supriesed to see a fully attried Tusken Raider swinging a Gaffi at his face. Then benny crawled through the matinance hatch that the tech was using. He managed to work his way through the base untill he found an open panel that he could exit through.

Then two mouse bots met their demise. Then another tech. Benny managed to single handedly free the other PC's with the aid of some "magic items" that he found (Frags and a Light Repeating Blaster).

I'll have to post the drawings that he did in-character of his life story.

That is a great story. Way to take a very very very unlikely race as a PC and work to their strengths while at the same time working to develop them into a fully filled out character. Well done.

thats actually really cool. how you played his strength to the mission. showing the rest of the players how he could be an asset to their team and all

They sure wont have much trouble when asking for some informations, if anything goes wrong Fluffy can be very handy.
