Hey everyone, glad you checked my topic. I am trying to make a character sheet for a D6 system based game. But I am having trouble with the tables and some of the options.
I am using MicroSoft Word, with Excel Tables.

I have the 6 stats and the thing for weapons down. That was no problem and the default tables in it worked perfectly, after some tweaking of collumn length.
My problem is with everything else on the sheet, and what I need for the two main sheets is basically the following.
A Place for; Name, race, gender, height, weight, appearance, background, and that table that held all the diffrent kinds of points of the FP, CP, and DSP nature.

Equipment is going to be on another page entirely.

Well I am not able to provide any help with what you are doing (not familiar enought with the software you are using) I friend of mine made a Star Wars based D6 character sheet in Excel that is pretty thorough even has a place for back ground and such. If you would like I will upload it tonight and link to the file here once I am home in the morning. You might be able to see how it was designed to get ideas for your layout or it might just meet your needs.

It's supposed to be an 1890s styled fantasy setting.

One Page contains nothing but character info.
Next Page is all equipment.
And the final page, used only by some characters, is for powers of the divine, arcane, or psionic nature.

That way there is actually enough room for everything the characters have.

The Excel sheet, I have one similar, but it is not too malleable and not very printer friendly either. I might try porting some of it's tables into the Microsoft Word Document.
If your is diffrent than I could try the same thing with it. Thanks NetJedi.

Just need some more input, and if anyone actually knows something more about the program, because I am banging my head against it, feel free to share.

Here's a copy of one I did in MS Word. It's a bit different, but it's my first attempt. Roleplayers Direct Downloads

Boomer, maybe you could check the one I did for my playing group (MS Word).

It is in french but I think you could translate it easily Wink (and the font used for the character sheet is in the .zip)

edit: there is also a file for starships : http://krapz.free.fr/vaisseau_SWD6.zip

Thanks all for your input and character sheets. I have begun analysing the structure of the tables and am now on a faster track to making my own, in a style more suited to the game I am running.

And Krapou, the french is no problem, there are plenty of online guides to translate it for me.

I made a 3 page form for character sheets and a 2 page form for starships/vehicles in Excel. I zipped 'em together into a folder along with the fonts I used. If you're interested, check them out:

Should I place them in the pdf thread as a fan made item, or is that for pdf's solely?
