That right there is the Flower-Class Corvette. The mainstay of the Canadian Fleet during World War II.
It was a Sub Chaser, for the most part. |

Granted. I know my naval history (somewhat) I was a Canadian Sea cadet, and we went all over the naval history of our country. _________________ The Vong have Arrived

Cool! Would take a lot of work to get one of these spacebound, however.
And, honestly, I doubt the deck gun would be good against anything. |

Well, i did say adapted. so replace them with laser cannons. It would be easier imo to start from scratch using the design as a layout for a new ship.
Granted in 3D space it would have a LARGE blind spot where the water should be _________________ The Vong have Arrived

Take two, cut 'em just below where the waterline would be, weld 'em together.
There you go, no blind spot!
Just a pain to go between the Gravity Decks! |

Actually, I was thinking of Wroonian ships, and figuring it'd be of similar design. Only with Wooden-Style ships instead of Metal.
Huge Masts to run Solar Sales with, allow The Winds of Space to push them along in emergencies or religious events. |
