How did you all come up with your character names

I got S.L.A.M. from Galaxy Guide 9 : Fragments From The Rim
its a mercenary term meaning :-

S - Searh
L - Locate
A - Annihilate
M - Mission

It fits well with my Ubese Mercenary character.

I stole Ragnar from the video game Rune.
When I decided to make a pirate Ragnar sounded cool.

The mystery of my handle, revealed!

Rathe Ehtar can be found in "The Adventure of Young Sherlock Holmes".

I wanted to use it for a Stormtrooper character, but that never happened...

“Son of Fire” is what my middle name translates to in English.

Orgaloth was something I made up, or got from Drow of the Underdark (TSR). Not sure which, it has been about 6 years since I originally made him. Confused

Roguesquad comes from the books. Hmmm, after everyone else's name origin, mine kinda seems boring Sad

SNiPE, hmm had this from hellsa long ago. Back in my FA days I used SNiPE not beacuse it was short for sniper, but because it's a bird that people try to hunt but they can never seem to see or capture one. 8)

I got two words for you, literature! Actually Urhart is my Pen Name (it is an anogram of my middle name, 5 points for anyone who can figure out what it is!! Also there is Lilamiw, that's my first name anogramed).

I also do politics, like my guy named John Lenin.

I'm not sure where I came up with Loc, but there's a guy named Reglis Taal in Galaxy Guide 10: Bounty Hunters. I wasn't specifically thinking of him when I created Loc Taal, but I'm sure it was there in the back of my mind somewhere. Confused

Loc, I'm pretty sure you started playing SW-RPG prior to GG#10 coming out. Check the archives; when did GG#10 get published?

All of my characters have been made-up to one degree or another.

Example character names that I had:
  • Saring Darneen - pilot/businessman/entrepreneur
  • Kedra - assassin, er, security droid Wink
  • Arad Benarn - Jedi
  • Lortok - Kungmontadion (made up species based on the Klingons from "Star Trek")
  • "Rascal" Wraschner - scout
