If a ship is fully ionized are the droids aboard ship effected and dose it cause electricity to arc through corridors.
Also can it effect personnel on the ship.

I always thought it only affected the ship itself. I can envision it affecting the droids if it was plugged into a system that was ionized however.

I second that. A standard ion attack shouldn't affect the crew (whether droid or biological). An overwhelming ion barrage could possibly affect droids inside... As far as I remember, WEG doesn't consider Ion weapons to affect organics in any way, though in d20 organics take half-damage from Ion weapons.

Although I once had a cyborg directly linked into the ship when we got hit by a heavy ion cannon... Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Agreed. If the droid is plugged in directly to the ship (like r2 units on an xwing, they too will get shut down.

As for people, the closest i have had, was a console blowing up in someone's face for 3d+1 damage...

Just for confirmation, I was just reading the 1st X-Wing novel, and in a scene Corran gets his X-Wing ionized, and his astromech, Whistler, is disabled with it.

Well, if it FULLY ionized, then I'd say your comm system is inoperative and you can't receive electronic messages.

At least the Escape Pods still work. Maybe that's why Yoda flies around in one?
