It's rough
Feats:
(Note: Taking up these abilities reduces sensitivity to living targets. Impose a -2D to rolls when targeting a living being. with other skills know to the Force user)

Force (Mechanical) new Force category!!
Requires: Control Force Feat
Allows training in Force skill to affect advanced machines such as droids, Electronics and mechanical parts.

Skills:
-Mechanical Telepathy:
Allows user to understand parts and electronics to use them effectively. The user knows the limits of the device and most effective way to use it.

-Ion Lightening
as force lightning but it targets electronics instead.
(No DSP's are incurred by this power.)

-Charger Lightening
as force lightning but it powers targeted electronics and devices instead damaging them.
(No DSP's are incurred by this power.)
-System manipulation
deceives Droids and computers. Droids and systems treat this attack as hacking. this can also be used to create illusions and affect the 'minds' of droids. any effects on pre-programmed droids is temporary.
(No DSP's are incurred by this power.)

-Reprogram Electronics
as System manipulation, but only permanent effects.

-"one with the Machine"
Can operate a vehicles with better effectiveness. This allows the user to to fly, drive or operate and craft with bonus equal to the dice in this skill. Must have skill to pilot the vehicle first. these dice are added and do not substitute for real skills. They only enhance existing skills.

Nice Smile a lot of potential their. i'm not sure that Force mechanical needs to be a new force skill/power catagory in it's own right, but other than that there is definite potential there.

I agree with Lostboy, it is nice work with good potential. I do have a question about the feats part: since d6 has none are you planing to create one along with this or is this work that you started for d20 and transferred over?

It's a neat concept, but I'm not sure it's exactly fitting the flavour of Star Wars as its been experienced so far. Of course, what "Star Wars" is seems constantly in flux these days Razz

I have the same question Orion has about the feat thing.

I think that while it may not have the flavor of star wars yet there is potential for it to grow into something good.

Yeah it will be made for both D20 and D6.

Have to make mage for another game. But I will be making a Jawa Character...I'll call a tech savant I think the best categories for mech Force skills fall in to Sense and control.

My test PC will be a Jawa fringe Mechanic (scout/Scavenger), and his Light saber will be more a tool. with a wielding torch, cutter and light emitter/projector in it.

I'll look at the WEG rules for the force skills...Ay game willing to try the PC out?
