So, watching The Last Jedi again (I am coming to regard it higher and higher as time goes on), and a thought about Finn's leaking bag...
Is that a bacta suit? Like, instead of putting someone in a 750 gallon tank of bacta, they just put him in a jumpsuit that pumps bacta around you? How much bacta do you think that saves? Something like 60-180 liters total, if you have a bacta suit?

And the hoses could connect to a filtering system to reuse the bacta in a hygienic manner.
So, bigger question: Just how much Bacta did Finn waste by standing up and walking around because he wasn't sedated properly? |
