How would you stat out a T-1000 like robot? Would it's attributes be Morphable? What about skills?

As a first whack, take a look at the Ugor alien species. they basically have a pool of attributes and can shift their pool around to suit a situation at hand.

Or perhaps the Polydroxol alien species which seems to be a carbon copy of the T-1000.

As far as the rules and stats go, I'm with Rerun. Esoomian also makes a good point. If it doesn't have to be a droid, they a Polydroxol is almost certainly the way to go.

In an odd coincidence, I just finished a small book my parents gave me, mostly as a joke. It's called How to Survive a Robot Uprising. It covered some handy tricks for dealing with modular nanorobots like a T-1000, and I came up with a few of my own, based on them. If you want some advice on weaknesses I can help you out.

I wasn't thinking of a terminator / SW crossover, but some sort of mad imperial experiment gone wrong that the PC's stumble into where a T1000 like thing is on the loose.

Still seems a little high tech for a Star Wars setting but check out the Vong hunter droids. If you read the novels they're supposed to have some sort of regeneration mechanic but I haven't seen it statted out anywhere.

I'm not sure why it's stats would need to be changeable. I'd give it, like... 15D in Con: Disguise, and I would allow it the option to turn it's limbs into blades/hooks/hammers etc. The damage would be STR+xD where x = whatever you think presents an appropriate challenge.

I'd also grant the option to repair damage immediately at the cost of a full-round action or some such (make a STR roll against a difficulty based on damage already sustained; if successful, damage repairs fully after one add'l round; a result of "killed" destroys the droid/creature/whatever-it-is). That's my first draft. Do what you want with it. Razz

I've been playing around with a pretty complex idea of using WH40K races to populate the Unknown Regions. One of the ideas I've been going with is adding vampires (or their machine equivalent) to the Necron race to use as infiltrators and spies, and one of the features I wanted to use was a full liquid metal form, with the limitation that their illusion could be maintained unless they were exposed to direct sunlight, in which case they gave off a very obvious metallic glint (no, this is not a Twilight crossover), which is why they tended to stay in the shadows or only come out at night. Oh, and they would "feed" off organic beings by absorbing a victim's natural electrical current.

Just a random thought...

Resurrecting this thread with a few related questions in mind.
For the regular terminators such as the T-600s and T-700s..

A) how easily would a lightsaber cut through them
B) would ion cannon damage affect them as droids, or something else
C) would force powers like affect mind or force lightning have any effect?

Garhkal - why not take a look at gry's Guri - the replicate droid.

I would same a LS would affect them the same as any normal object / being.

They ARE droids - they just look human - so ion damage does what it does to droids i'd say. Though some droids that are war droids could be hardened vs ion/emp

No/Yes - affect mind doesnt affect droids - force lightning does affect them as the target doesn't really feel pain but sustains more dmg from electrical style of attacks. Hence why we have versions of force lightning that are None dark side that affect only droids from various EU sources.

Fair enough - I thought Gry had gotten states for Guri from a home brew source.

My Bad.
