Mishi dosnt spend long wandering the ship before he hears talking somewhere ahead. Following the sound, it dosnt take him long to find the cockpit. He sees Zela enter the cockpit a few strides a head of him.

As Mishi enters the cockpit, Master Floran spreads his hands wide as he addresses those presant. "Peace Gryphon, our friend Garren has received life changing news today, and unlike yourself, it was not news that brought him joy. He holds desperately to what he knows," He getures at the ship around them, "as he seaches for his place in the Force."

Master Floran shifts his gaze to Garren, "Your position with this group is more secure than you realize. And allowing those around you to help will only serve to strengthen that position.

Looking at Revv, "A pilot of noteworthy skill should be able to handle the ship by themself." He glances at Garren, a hint of humor in his eyes, "In the interest of efficiency, a droid will be assigned to this ship when we make our raundiveu in orbt."

He seems thoughtful for a long moment, as if he is searching for words before he continues, "The Azure Saber will be docking with the Maveric in orbit fo supplies. I will be parting ways with you at that time as well." Spreading his arms in a gesture to include everyone, "Questions?"

Revv nods briefly at Master Garren's answer to his question and wonders internally what exactly his role will be in the upcoming mission. Glancing around the room at the others, Revv wonders how well the group of newly-minted nights will function together.

Revv waits a moment to see if anyone else has a question before offering one of his own: "Just one question at the moment, Master: Will an individual in our group be given command of the mission?"

Garren's smile doesn't fade at the young knight's reaction.

"Relax kid, you need to keep a sense of humor if you're going to survive in this galaxy; most of the time, in the 'real world,' the joke's on you, so you'd better get used to it... Often times those jokes come loaded with a lot of firepower and itchy trigger fingers, a sense of humor will keep you alive longer, let you laugh with the guy who just threw his drink on you or spit on your honor. The Jedi 'aint exactly welcome in many places in the galaxy, and unless you wanna stain them pretty hands of yours with unneccesary blood on a regular basis, you need to lighten up." He finishes off his statement with a little wink at Gryphon.

He looks over to Master Floran and smiles.

"Aint no nevermind to me, Master Floran. If there's one thing the Jedi can be counted on is you keep your word, 'n that's good enough for me. I'm just having a little fun with the fighter, ruffling his feathers a bit. I appreciate gift, I'm sure we'll find something for the tin can to keep busy with 'round the ship..."

Garren leans way back in his chair stretching.

"Shall we get this show on the road?"

Gryphon could see this was going to be an interesting journey. He had a sense of humor...a very active sense of humor; however, this pilot had slipped a joke right past him.

Gryphon supposed he was, perhaps, taking things a little seriously. However, he'd just been Knighted, for the Force's sake. And early, too; it seemed the Council was increasingly concerned with the state of things. The war with the Sith had been taking an exacting toll on the Jedi's numbers; at least the attrition rates were high for the Sith as well. Gryphon wondered just what he and his newly-minted comrades were expected to do in the face of such devastation, especially considering their own skill level was, as yet, so far behind that of normal Knights when they first had their braids cut off.

"I'll keep that in mind," Gryphon says, thinking about a number of possible pranks he might play on the captain, in order to see just how extensive that sense of humor of his ran...

Master Floran blinks slowly, his gaze meeting "You will defer to Captain Garren's judgement on matters of travel unless it directly goes against your mission." He spreads his hands to include everyone, "As for everything else, you are Jedi Knights. Discuss the mission between yourseves, and trust the Force to guide you." He looks thoughtful for a long moment, as if he wants to say something more, "If that is all, I will retire to one of the spare cabins for transit."

When he starts to turn away from the group, he stopps suddenly. His voice is much softer as he continues, "Sometimes it is difficult to know the will of the Force. And knowing the will, and understanding the will of the Force can be very different things. I confess that I do not understand the will of the Force in this. But I do know that it is the will of the Force that you follow this path. Take strength in that."

Taking a deep breath, Master Floran stands a little straighter. Pausing in the doorway, he gives the characters a chance to ask any further questions.

Gryphon bows slightly at the waist. "Thank you for your guidance and encouragement, Master. We will not fail you."

Gryphon considers for a few moments, then adds, "Has the Force given you any indication of something specific we're to be looking for? Besides the Sith, I mean," he adds, a wry chuckle escaping his lips. "Any specific places we're to be going, or any individuals that have been brought to your attention? For that matter, are there any Intelligence assets we might have access to, especially considering that even though we've been made Knights, we do not possess nearly the range of skills a Knight would have been taught, even five years ago."

Upon hearing Master Floran's reply, Revv glances at Garren again, trying to recall everything he might know about him.

He then furrows his brow slightly, surprised to hear that Master Floran perhaps didn't know as much about this mission as previously thought. Revv resolved to stay connected to the force and to do his very best to help this mission result in success.

Master Floran gives a weak smile, "Unfortunately, intelligence isnt something that the order has much of right now. My best advice would be to go to Russan. That is likely to be the most reliable source of intelligence you will find." His eyes shift to Gryphon, "Your light is brighter than you may beleave. While your training may not be as complete as many of your fellow Knights, the Force would not have chosen you for this if you were not capable of the task you have been given."

Master Floran opens his hands in a gesture to include those gathered, "If that will be all, perhaps we can be on our way?"

Gryphon nods and takes the copilot's seat, ready to learn about piloting the craft.

Feeling anxious and excited to get going, Revv nods in agreement with the suggestion that the ship get underway.

Then, figuring he would not be of much use in the cockpit, Revv takes his leave and turns to give himself a quick tour of the ship, looking for weapons emplacements and any other points of interest.

With Revv and Gryphon in the cockpit, the rest of the crew disperses into the ship, each lost in his or her own thoughts.

The ship lifts off smoothly, and makes its way through the atmosphere just the way Revv would expect from a new space transport. Within a few minutes, he homes in on his first destination, the Maveric. The Maveric is a modest sized ship, but there is no doubt as they approach, the Maveric is a warship., plain and simple. At their approach, the comm chirps with an incoming message "Azure Saber, we've been expecting you. Please dock at the number 2 docking arm. We'll try to have you back on your way as soon as we are able. Maveric out." The comm goes silent.

Gryphon looks over at Garren. "So...you've got yourself a student. Please, be thorough in your explanations. I'd like to learn properly the first time, and I'd really hate for this to become a crash course..." he adds with a wry smile.

Revv glances up out of the cockpit and zeroes in on the Maveric, looking for blaster burns or battle damage, trying to figure out if the bigger ship had any experience in combat. After a quick glance, Revv then looks around the cockpit for an empty station that he could man.
