Glad I could make at least one person’s Valentines Day.

I have long wanted to use the Defender and Avenger in my game. But wow did you ever see the stats that were posted on the d6holocron wiki page?! They are way too outrageous for me.
Space:17 and Maneuverability:6D on the Defender. Just BONKERS!

There are a lot of questionable stats on the Holocron, and not just the official WEG ones, but those ones are pretty out there. It’s always been a key part of the SWU that starfighter development was one area where the Alliance excelled, so even major technological leaps forward for the Empire should mostly amount to playing catch-up.

Thanks for posting all these! My players are going to do their best to steal them from the new TIE factory in my game next week!

No problem, and have fun with that. Unless someone has a specific request, I think these are all the TIEs I had left to do.

So, first stat project in a while. I've been slammed busy with work, and super tired whenever I had a free moment. First off, I decided to fold the stats for the Delta JV-7 Escort Shuttle into the stats for the Lambda-Class Shuttle and just say that they used the same basic hull, but with different wings.

Fantastic! You must be reading my mind b/c I was just daydreaming about the Escort Shuttle only yesterday! I was thinking of just lifting the Skipray Blastboat stats for a quick fix but I like your solutions.

One thing I like about the Imp. Navy is the modular designs of TIEs, Strike Cruisers, and such. A few wing swap options for the Lambda fits well.

For those who are unaware, fractalsponge has the rare honor of being one of the few fan artists whose work has achieved official status (specifically, the Bellator-Class Star Battlecruiser). His website includes several other projects that show amazing detail, including:

Assertor-Class Star Dreadnought

Allegiance-Class Heavy Star Destroyer

Secutor-Class Star Destroyer

Procursator-Class Light Star Destroyer

Altor-Class Fleet Support Ship

Vigil-Class Star Corvette

All-Terrain Shock Enforcer

I have emailed fractalsponge requesting hard data on his designs to make more accurate stats, but before I take a stab at writing my own, I'm wondering if anyone else on the forum has written anything up for these ships.

@CRMcNeill

do you have the stats of the Procursator-Class Star Destroyer?

I like your version of this SSD but why has it exact the same numbers of starfighters like the original SSD?

This one is about 5.000 meters shorter??

It's only 500 meters shorter. Going by film evidence, the Executor-Class Super Star Destroyer should've been far larger, so I co-opted the WEG stats to make the Bellator, then re-stated the Executor here.

500 meters? The stats that i know speak of 12.500 meters which would correspond to a difference of 5.000 meters

your design ist more than 100% longer but you only doubled the Starfighters?

Should not it be more?

@Procusator

is there any chance that you will publish something in this regard once?

I have never seen a stat or credible reference that put the Super's length at 12,500 meters. The WEG stat puts it at 8,000 meters, while analysis of the film footage puts the length in the 18,000 to 19,000 meter range. The closest I've ever seen to a 12,500 meter length is if you compare the line art scale drawing in the Imperial Sourcebook, where the Super ends up around 8-8.5 times longer than an ISD. But that doesn't trump film evidence.

Not when you consider the Empire's deemphasis on starfighters post-Clone Wars.

Quote:

Unlikely. There isn't much this ship can do that isn't covered by the Victory II, so I'm not hugely inspired by it.

Well, since you asked...

Fulgor-Class Pursuit Cruiser

Images

The Fulgor is the Imperial Navy's replacement for the aging Carrack-Class Light Cruiser in the pursuit role. Fulgors are primarily used to shadow retreating enemy forces, tracking their hyperspace jump vectors in the hopes of tracking them to their bases. Recent advances in soliton wave tracking allows Fulgors to jump into hyperspace in pursuit of fleeing enemy vessels, although this tactic can be deadly if the enemy craft deliberately lead the pursuing vessels into a trap. The Fulgor's highly effective sensor array also allows it to serve as an armed scout or taskforce picket, although it lacks the endurance for extended deployments and the necessary stealth needed for a true scout/recon platform.

There are several ships on the list that I've been hung up on when it comes to the stats. In addition to how busy Darth Reality has been keeping me, I've also come to the realization that the direction I wanted to go with the stats in question was the same direction as some stats I had already completed. To wrap up the stats in question, I'll be essentially copying the other stats, adding a few dice here and there to represent upgrades, then posting them as follow-on or replacement ships in the roles filled by the older ships. The older ships would then be the sort found patrolling lower priority ships in the Rim, while the newer ships would become more common in higher priority areas.
