Crimson Sand
Inspired by "Mexican Slayride" from The A-Team

Act I: The Missing Reporter
The Besh Team is hired under suspicious circumstances to recover a missing holonet reporter in the Outer Rim, while dodging the long arm of Imperial justice.

They are ambushed by Imperial Security Bureau Agent Colonel Kravik Storn on an industrial set, triggering a fast-paced vehicle chase. After evading capture, they meet with Amiyn Alenaar, the partner of the missing journalist Al Massan. Rho, disguised and testing Amiyn’s motives, accepts the mission. The team regroups, and after a final escape from Kravik Storn at the spaceport, launches toward the desert world of Parnalos.

Arken Span, The: A rusted repulsor bridge over canyon depths.

Act II: Infiltration on Parnalos
The team enters Parnalos under false identities, posing as Holovid scouts. They evade customs agents and establish a safehouse. Clues lead them to the Mag Coil, where they fight Korran’s thugs and earn the trust of ex-militia informant Dren Kalo. Kalo reveals Massan is held by warlord Colonel Aeris Drayven and gang leader Malavik Korran in the remote town of Varn Halik.

Plans are set in motion—recruit locals, sabotage enemy operations, and prepare an ambush.

Kestral Mesa Launchpad: Cliffside smuggler pad, ideal for fast exfiltration.
Fuseveil Narrows: Gang-infested junk valley where ambushes are frequent.
Hydro-silk Groves: Alien farm fields—adds sci-fi flavor to sabotage.
Mag Coil, The: Wreckage-choked tavern full of scavvers and spies.
Parnalos Borderland: Dry planet with bandit activity and guerrilla occupation.
Red Fuse Cell, The: Citizen resistance fighters fed up with syndicate control.
Varn Halik: Desert border town in the canyons of Parnalos.

Act III: Prepare the Ambush
The team stirs rebellion in Varn Halik, arming farmers, setting traps, and sabotaging Korran’s spice fields. Zik and Val drop propaganda from a repulsor crop-duster. The ambush triggers a firefight, but just as Korran is about to fall, Drayven's forces arrive with a walker and guerrillas, overwhelming the team. The Besh Team is captured.

Act IV: Double Trouble
Imprisoned in a grain silo, the team escapes using trickery, brawling, and sabotage. Fleeing in a stolen hauler with Massan, they are chased by swoop bikes and a walker. Zik and Val return in the duster, strafing enemies and enabling escape.

Rallying the town, the Besh Team storms Korran’s compound and captures both tyrants. Amiyn Alenaar demands to join them or threatens to expose them. They agree, and depart before Colonel Kravik Storn can catch up.

Epilogue
Varn Halik is free. Massan’s reports are broadcast across the Outer Rim. Amiyn joins the Besh Team as media handler. Colonel Kravik Storn wakes up in a crate, gagged, with a flyer taped to his forehead. Somewhere else, a new mission awaits the Besh Team...
