I've never seen a price table for Phrik in any of the Saga books and it's not in the FFG rule book that I own (admittedly that's just one book, but there you go).
A quick look through Pirates and Privateers in Chapter Four: Plunder and Equipment tells me that Hyperbarides go for about 2200 CR per kilo. Looking to wookiepeedia tells me that Hyperbarides are extremely rare and required for turbolaser technology.
So I would start with 2200/kg being the high end price for Phrik. |

Given phrik's rarity, versatility, and strategic nationalization by the Empire, I'd say that 2200 is on the low end of the price range. Of course you can always start there, apply the 4,X modifiers, and end up with much more exhorbitant costs. _________________ Aha! |

Heh, I gave my players approximately three kilos of it and the armorer they took it too to make armor for them offered 35k for it, i think. Maybe I was high, but I was just winging it. They still went with making armor, two suits plated in phrik with removable phrik spikes in the forearms. Something like 2d protection and no dex penalty. Even owning the phrik I made them pay like 25k for the workmanship and extra alloys. |

My character took an electro-staff from a magna droid and used some of the alloy to rebuild her lightsaber after it got damaged in a duel.
I guess that has nothing to do with the price haha! I was going to say that in D&D, Mithryl adds 2000 gp to the cost of a weapon, and adamantium adds 3000 gp to its cost. Given that a greatsword costs 50 gp and I think a longsword is 15 or so, if you wanted to use another game/system for a frame of reference, there is one. |

IMO the bigger issue is how Would an average PC even know what is special about Phrick? _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
