Did you add the other links I mentioned; the Cultures Guide or the three GG13 source docs? _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

The files that Deano shared here? No, I didn't add those. I don't want to start just putting any unfinished fan documents on the Library. That's fine on the forum but not the Library.
I added a link to the location of the stalled RotS project because it really depresses me that it was never finished and I am hoping that someone, anyone, picks it up and completes it. I just added this megablob because it was a giant mass of pre-Pit material all in one single download. I remember the GG13 stuff was no where near finished so that could be combined with this blob of stuff. Was the Cultures thing a finished project? If so I'll give it its own entry in the Library. If not, it could be added to the megablob. Like I said in my prior post, if anyone else wants to to that, go for it and let me know when a new zipped file is available. Thanks. _________________ *

As a follow-up to this, I did look in the AOL Mailing List+ ARCHIVE zip file. The Guide to Cultures and Society, and the Scoundrel Handbook are both there. I didn't see the other two "GG13" documents there (an rtf outline and a very short incomplete Word doc). I tried to add those to the unpacked folder and then rezip it, but I got failure messages. I'm not going to spend anymore time on this, so if anyone else wants to take a shot at it, please be my guest. If anyone wants to make anything in the archive into a finished PDF to be shared separately on the Library, please be my guest. Thank you. _________________ *

I have a pdf copy of the Cultures book, and it should be pretty easy to print the Scoundrels document to pdf from Word. Let me see...

Some of the formatting is wonky on some of the character stat columns, but it is not impossible to follow and it turned out better than what I thought a quick conversion would. Thanks!

The Cultures book wasn't a huge priority for me; I hadn't even clicked on Deano's link so I just assumed it was in pdf format like the version I had.
At some point, I should probably compare my list of D6 files to the Downloads page to see if there's anything I have that we don't. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. I get a lot of messages asking for help to find things on the Library. To find things on the Library:
1.) You may have to refresh the Library tab if you already had the Library up, or even X out and bring it up in a new tab again.
2.) I put "NEW -->" in front of new items, so you can just look for that.
3.) Please use the Find on Page feature to find things. Ctrl + F (Windows) or ⌘ Command + F (Mac).
In this case, if you just search for the word "cultures" you will find it. I hope this helps. _________________ *

That would be great. Thanks! |
I just noticed that the Open D6 section is missing the D6 Adventure and D6 Fantasy supplements, specifically:D6 Adventure - Locations
D6 Adventure - Creatures
D6 Adventure - Bloodshadows (Worldbook)
D6 Fantasy - Creatures
D6 Fantasy - Locations
D6 Magic _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

Thanks, but they are not missing. They were intentionally left out of the Library but are included in the sentence at the bottom of the OpenD6 section:
Quote: | There are a few other Purgatory OpenD6 documents available here. |
For the Adventure and Fantasy lines, I only put the core books in the Library because these lines are less applicable to the Star Wars D6 game. But all the books you listed are just a couple quick clicks away from the Library on the OpenD6 Wikia linked there. _________________ *

Should probably also add the six issues of D6 Magazine... _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

It had been about five years since I looked at those. Man, I love those issues. An interview with Star Wars legend Bill Smith. An interview with and contributions by Star Wars legend Peter Schweighofer. Contributions by a lot of D6 fans I know, some of whom are here at the Pit. Great stuff.
I rebranded the bottom section of the Library as OpenD6 in general and added a link directly to all 6 issues of d6 Magazine on a page hosted by Wicked North Games, a game company still fighting the good fight for the D6 system and who deserves a little promotion and web traffic going their way.
Thanks for the idea. _________________ *
