I just checked the Google+ page, and Google+ is now officially off-line. So long, Google+ SWD6 group. It was fun while it lasted.

I will miss a bunch of the communities on G+, it seems like most of the people who I've unwittingly followed on MeWe are suits who are constantly spamming new products and such...
I was wondering if there were remnants of a D6 Star Wars Discord Channel or anything of the like... does anyone know?

Yes, there exist a SWD6 discord channel with surprisingly many members, but it's mostly only active in burst now and then.

I'm kicking myself for not making alternative communication with Oliver Queen and the other peeps working on the Rogue One book.

Well, among things he is admin of the MeWe page so that's at least one way of contacting him. And I'm pretty sure he's here too. |

I visit now and then too 
I'm aiming to finish the layout this summer once Uni is out of the way.

Alright! The gang's all here. Time was suuuper scarce for me too the last couple of months (still is, but is somewhat more available now), so I hear ya. The RO book will definitely see the light of day! (And I'll try to hammer out what I have left for the Solo book as well.) |

Gah! The Solo book, I totally forgot about that. Not to mention the Droids book and the Rebels Season 3 and 4 books, none of which I've looked at in over a year. Damn, it's been a while.

And on-topic: RIP, G+ indeed! Very much enjoyed the time I spent in the SWD6 group there, despite my issues with the interface. Lots of good content contributed by its members.

Yikes, but all in due time. IIRC, that Droids book is fairly close. I gave a lot of it a sweeping rewrite, then a close edit through Chapter 4. At least all the writing itself was complete.
And re: Solo, I'm maybe 3/4 - 4/5 through the characters I claimed before massive deadlines got in the way. Though I know Dean mentioned wrapping up University Studies in the near future.

I know Oliver had that a lot of gear, additional characters, and vehicles already done for Solo as well. No time to really set up new social media as of yet, so have yet to check out MeWe. Any good? |

Seems okay so far, just awfully quiet. Oliver and I are both mods, but I'm still feeling my way through the interface. A lot of people I know from outside the Star Wars community are migrating over to MeWe due to issues they have with the established social media sites, so there is a lot of potential for growth.

I really enjoyed this community and i'm really sad to loose contact with SWD6 G+ group. I would eventually go to reddit, is it as good and full of resources as G+ was ?

| Rancor Pit is the most active of the existing communities, with FB being a close second. Reddit has features that could be utilized better than it currently is, but it's up to personal taste mostly, as others said, some like MeWe better. |
