Horses?????

They had horses (or close enough as to make no difference) in the Ewok movies.

My brother balked at the "space horses," but I thought "why not." We've had some form of mounts in all of the movies thus far.

I'm curious about the dagger Rey was holding in the snippet where she and Kylo Ren destroy the podium with Vader's helmet resting atop. Could be a throwback to The Clone Wars episode with the Brother, Sister and Father...?

There was Ghost forming up behind Falcon.
And Y-Wing performing a bombing run with rolls and decend speed? Poor Rian and his static "tight formation".

So, the Death Star debris did hit Endor after all. It took it pretty well, though.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8CiFtxN_W4

I paused this on 8:44.

Just below the falcon in the bottom middle you see a U-Wing
Below this however I am sure I see a vigil corvette.

Not the raider, this doesn't have the added panels, this also looks wider.
also the corvus was changed slightly to look less imperial, this one looks nothing like the corvus, but much like a vigil corvette.

could this be a vigil corvette in the hands of the resistance, maybe some ex imperaal that didn't quite see eye to eye with the first order?

Regardless I am sure this is if not a vigil, then a "new" imperial corvette, very similar to the vigil.

what do you guys think that ship is?

(pause exactly 8:44)

Is that the Ghost I saw on the right side of the screen by the Millennium Falcon at 1:01??? It looks like a VCX-100 at any rate.

Whill. What kind of shallow person puts church and family ahead of going to the movies? Geez. You think you know somebody.

What I've picked out so far (Holy cow, so many):
Millennium Falcon - center
Shadowcaster (from Rebels) - above Millennium Falcon
The Ghost (from Rebels) - above and right of Millennium Falcon
GX-1 Short Hauler - below left of Millennium Falcon, maybe another to the right of Millennium Falcon and below The Ghost
Spyrna-class "Hammerhead" Corvette - left of Shadowcaster
Free Virgillia-class Bunkerbuster (several) - 1 left of Millennium Falcon and 1 above Millennium Falcon
MC-75 star cruiser (at least 2) - in background on left and right
MG-100 StarFortress bomber - partly cut off at top right of picture
Nebulon-B frigate - cut off on right side of picture; behind The Ghost
Pelta-class frigate - partly cut-off at top center
Braha'tok-class gunship? - bottom behind GX-1
U-wing - behind Millennium Falcon in image
Vakbeor-class cargo freighter - above U-wing, behind Millennium Falcon
DP20 Corellian Gunships or Consular-class cruisers - 1 partially cut off at top right and 1 cut off above Nebulon-B
GR75 Rebel Transports? - looks like 1 between Millennium Falcon and The Ghost and 1 cut off on bottom left corner

the ship under the little shining "dot" of the falcon, to me this looks very very much like an imperial corvette of sorts, I was about to say vigil but it can be a raider, but it is not the corvus it seems, any thoughts?

Since the Ghost was put in Rogue One and it has ben established in canon that Hera and the Ghost survived RotJ, my money is on it being the Ghost. I think there is a chance that Ezra and Sabine are Rey's parents, and that Keri Russell's character is really live action middle aged Sabine.

Somehow all this giant debris hitting Jakku and the Forest Moon of Endor is not causing planetary cataclysms. Did a fleet of ships on both planets tractor the debris into a controlled decent? Ultron would be so pissed!

The size of the pieces matters a lot too. A 1 ton asteroid is much more dangerous than 32,000 ounce sized asteroids, because of the ratios of surface area to mass. One big object won't completely burn up in the atmosphere, lots of little ones will. So the Death Star debris would presumably be far less dangerous than that mostly intact Star Destroyer from Episode 7.

I hated that movie where they said blowing up the rock before if collided with the earth would turn 1 dangerous object into many. Doing that, would save the earth from a serious collision, not spread out an equal amount of damage.

Indeed, size matters.

That's a hunk a hunk a Death Star wreckage larger than a star destroyer. That in an uncontrolled collision would be cataclysmic to Earth or Endor.
