Marvel Studios chief developing Star Wars film

To make our MCU thread a little more on topic, it was announced today that Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige will develop a Star Wars film with Kathleen Kennedy. He is reportedly a diehard Star Wars fan.

I’ve said more than once that this is what they needed from the beginning (either Feige or someone like him with enough clout to ride herd on wayward directors). It remains to be seen whether or not this is too little, too late.
