Feedback on these would be helpful. Suggestions on how to make it better or even a "hey nice job" would be appreciated. This is an except of the original thread HERE.

Quote:
CAARITES
Caarites are sly, ingratiating beings whose penchant for crooked dealings is cloaked by their friendly demeanor. While they suffer from a rather poor reputation, it is difficult for anyone around a Caarite for an extended period of time to believe it is capable of anything truly malicious. They wear broad grins, bearing a double row of wide, flat, perfectly white teeth. Taking advantage of their frail, friendly appearance, they seize the upper hand in negotiations, exuding an almost childlike charm when dealing with with large groups of individuals.
Personality: Friendly, entertaining, humorous, but filled with a desire to get the better of their rivals by any means necessary.
Physical Description: Caarites are about a meter tall, with features that are vaguely porcine. While basically humanoid, they have slightly elongated snouts turned delicately upward on their tips. Their broad, open faces make their open smiles look even friendlier. Their flesh is pale pink, and they are completely hairless.
Caarite Homeworld: The Outer Rim planet of Caarimon is a warm, sauna-like planet with great humidity.
Language: Caarites speak Caarimala and Galactic Basic. Each knows at least one additional language.
Example Names: Velin Wir, Thurm Loogg.
Adventurers: Caarites who become adventurers do so for personal gain. They favor nonviolent means when face-to-face with an adversary, but they nonetheless carry a number of tools and ranged weapons. Caarites favor the scoundrel and fringer classes. Because they are adverse physical combat, they do not take up the soldier class. Some Caarites are Force-Sensitive, but their inherent greed prevents them from truly embracing the way of the Force.

Special Abilities:
-- Climate Adaptation: Caarites have adapted to the hot and humid conditions of their homeworld giving them a +1D modifier to suvival and stamina checks while in those conditions. Unfortuantely this puts them at a disadvantage when in colder climates, where they suffer a -1D modifier to surival and stamina checks.
-- Small Stature: Caarite must use smaller weapons than standard humanoids, sometimes requiring specially made equipment (-2 modifier when using equipment not made for their stature). Being small in stature is often a good thing when trying not to be seen (+2 modifier to hide and sneak skill rolls).
Story Factors:
-- Driven: Friendly, entertaining, humorous, but filled with a desire to get the better of their rivals by any means necessary.

Not really familiar with the Living Force Campaign as I've never played D20 Star Wars

However, I like that these guys are harmless looking but underhand, not to common a trait in Star Wars aliens.

Stat-wise, they seem fine to me, but I have no idea if they are close to the original D20 incarnation or not, straight conversions are tricky though so I guess it's probably more in a spirit of type thing

Also, is there a missing 'to' in this bit of the write up?

Because they are adverse physical combat,

Great work though. I'm looking at your Living Force conversion stuff with interest
