I usually play Humans. I have been known to play as Chiss, Rodians, and Wookies. I'm also a fan of the Tusken Raiders. Long live Benny.

Ithorians and Mon Calamari.

Ithorians because they're big and lumbering and have a weird way of talking, makes for interesting interactions with PCs, especially when it's a ticked off Ithorian!

Mon Calamari because Admiral Ackbar kicks A$$.

My particular favorite species is the Kel Dor. And unfortunatley, a lot of people end up being Human. In a way, I was kinda forced to become one when my Kel Dor "left," considering the two new characters coming in wouldn't exactly get a long with him... at all. But Kel Dor all the way!

I generally play humans, but I've always been fond of Twi'Leks. Particularly after reading the Rogue Squadron books.

Ever since Return of the Jedi I have loved Gamorrean's - in a purely platonic sense of course - but feel they rarely get a good chance to be played in the RPG due to the fact they can't speak basic, are generally not considered to be so bright, and only get 11D attributes -- all the same I have finally come up with a good Gamorrean character to roleplay (a more complicated Gamorrean than usual) but fear I will never get to play him.... [tears]

I've always had a personal taking to the Chiss.

And oddly enough... of all my years of playing i've only had 5 humans every played. NPC or PC. Guess I'm just cool like that. 8)

I've played serval different races from ewok to barabel. The two 3 characters that I have played the most are humans (cause there are so many of them and when it comes to blending in it's really handy), and Trandoshans. My first character was a trandoshan. When died back in 1999 he left a wife behind that was an npc then. I play her now tracking the scum that let her mate to his death.

I havn't played a lot of different races for SW RPG yet but Defel's are the most fun so far.

It truly is a shame how many characters are human these days... your playing STAR WARS after all!

When I do play, it's generally as a human. Easier to sneak around and pose as an Imperial that way.

I generally play humans as well, just because there aren't a lot of alien species that jump out at me as "Ooh, play as one of me!" Twi'leks probably come closest to that.
