There already is a tauntaun avatar and has been since last year. Look at the bottom of TESB avatar gallery.

I can't add any Grogu avatars until the Spoiler Policy is updated.

Pffft, Baby Yoda eating the Frog Lady's (unfertilized) eggs would make a better avatar. Razz

Yeah. A couple years ago someone posted it to a different forum as "An actual photograph of Tauntaun Scout". My memory is a bit hazy but I think that's when I discovered it. It's a famous portrait of Napoleon on his horse that was Star Warsified, but I don't know who made it.

"If you set out to take Hoth, take Hoth," Or "Why the Empire totally could have won the Galactic Civil War at Hoth, but ultimately screwed it up," by Napoleon Bonaparte. Very Happy

Napoleon was also big on inculcating the love of his men instead of killing them for human error, and was against torturing prisoners to get them to talk. So he would not approve of the Empire.

Which is worse: Hoth in summer or Russia in winter?

I suppose it depends on which one can kill a tauntaun faster at nighttime. Razz

I don't think so. Rian Johnson is not a bad director. The questionable part was the choices he made in his story writing. The impression I got from both seasons of The Mandalorian was that the scripts for each episode are already written before the director is assigned. If so then he would just be handed the script and have to direct it.

The other things is, this show already jumped the Carkoon in Season 2 so is there any real damage he could do if he is involved in writing? The bar is set much lower for this show than extending the Skywalker Saga. I think he'll probably do ok.
