Ithorian and Mon Calamari Design Protocol Droids!

Saw this pairing of protocol droid concept art pieces for The Rise of Skywalker pop up recently.

As with the LOM-series droids having an insectoid appearance due to their creation to serve the Gand (as well as other insectoid species in Legends), I'm surprised we haven't really seen more variations over the years!

If you haven't already introduced such variations in your own campaigns, how would you all stat up the game-mechanic programming variations for protocol droid designs by Ithorians or Mon Calamari?

Anything substantive apart from, say, additional specializations or skill dice in agriculture and survival, or aquatic-related and ship-design-related skills?

I love it. Long overdue. Telsij, I think you're on the right track for statting these out. Mon Calamari may have to discuss starship specs with species that don't speak Basic or their native language, so some basic Technical skills do seem warranted for their droid.

I haven't bought all the supplementary books for TROS yet and was considering not bothering (and getting rid of some of my TLJ books too). Hmm.
