I do agree that Repulsorlift, Piloting, Gunnery and Shields are very high and probably don't need boosted further, but I'm not sure what you mean by "didn't add the MEC attribute to most of his Mechanical Skills". Are you referring to some aspect of the conversion process? Sorry I'm not up on the conversion process. (If I need something from another system I just stat it out from scratch based on fluff or start with someone else's stats as a basis and tweak as I see fit.)

Not your fault Whill, I probably should have specified about the not adding MEC thing.

The conversion system I use for these is from the Rebellion site

When you convert skills from D20 to D6 using it, you take the skill value and turn it into D6 pips, with the normal 3 pips making 1D, then you add the
D6 Attribute value to it for the total like when creating a normal D6 character. The Attributes are converted using a table.

(eg a D20 character with DEX 13 and Blaster +5 would convert across to D6 as DEX 3D and Blaster +1D+2, for a total Blaster skill of 4D+2)

With Empatojayos Brand (and some others) if their converted skill rating in D6 is really high, I don't add it to their Attribute D for the final
total, I just leave it at the skill value

Just for reference, if you added Brand's Attribute to his Starfighter Piloting skill, he'd have 14D in it Shocked

Thanks for the explanation and link. I love The Rebellion website and hadn't been there in a long time. It doesn't look like anything new has been added since The Rancor Pit Forums began in 2003. It's amazing that The Rebellion is even still there. Glad it is.

Check the Wayback Machine internet archive. That site has been on the web for so long all the pages are probably already archived. If not, you can archive pages, at least up to some limit. I seemed to have reached my limit when archiving another website. I'm guessing they probably want me to be a supporting member to archive more but I haven't looked into it further.

The Wayback Machine is a great tool, but I find having an offline copy of stuff is useful and unlikely to just vanish one day or be
unavailable due to conection issues

I actually went and copied it all today, including the Cerebus Sector stuff. You can also download zipped files of the Rebellion stats,
so I did that too. (not star Wars: they have a Cyberpunk site too, which I'm going to copy tomorrow)
