Kabakh decides to see if there is a computer terminal in the lounge from which to download news from rather than go over to the table where his crewmates are. He figures it would be better to let the poor droid deal with Toba

Kabakh watches as Zulix gives the droid his drink and food order, and then shuffles over to the terminal. He quickly gains access to the holonet and begins scanning the news vids.
He finds that a major campaign has begun to discredit Senator Mon Mothma on Coruscant. Senator Bail Organa seems to be one of her biggest rivals leading the pack in this venture. The vids show the two of them in heated debates recorded before her escape from the planet.

Kabakh wonders what can be gained from using old debate vids to discredit Mon Mothma. Surely if the Senator from Alderaan wanted to discredit her he would be more than willing to give a live interview, something that would no doubt be more powersul than old material
I can not honestly believe they would do this. Surely most sane beings would see this as a poor attempt to discredit such a great person.

Luey sits at the terminal, drumming his claws on the keypad while waiting for the crewmember to return with somebody. After a while he gives up, logs off the terminal and goes search of a familiar face.
He starts by heading to the Dream, hoping to find Kabakh still recharging or fixing a meal or something.
(OOC: If his trip to the Dream is uneventful --because I can already see that it's going to be unsuccessful-- then Luey is going to try to find his way back to where he last saw Toba, Zulix, and the LE-maintenance-tour-guide-droid-thing)

Luey makes his way to the briefing chamber and finds it empty. A crewman walks by the still open doorway.

Kbakh, looks up, a little startled that Mon Mothma should appear when he had been thinking about her
Perhaps I should, senator. It is hard, however, in these times when so many are loosing so much for me to feel much pity for someone who seem to take Palpatine's lessons to heart when dealing with others. I am sorry, being a droid I should not say such things. But I had greatly admired that man before meeting him and his actions seem so terribly much like those he is fighting against that he has lost my admiration.
Oh, forgive me, that is not what I wished to speak with you about. I have been downloading recent news stories. Well, as recent as the Pergrine may have been able to get over the past month. I have found several stories aimed at discrediting you. The truely odd thing is that they are using footage of old debates between yourself and Senator Organa of Alderaan. Used, I must say, in such a way as to seem to make you two deadly enemies, I must say. But surely if that were the case I would think Senator Organa would be willing to go before the holocameras now for fresher material that would allow most sentients to know what kind of a vile being he would find you to be. Surely most sane sentients will question why they fail to use anything more recent.
