Ecclessis Figg (Mentioned only)
A human male who worked as a eccentric space explorer and industrialist from the planet Corellia. He founded the tibanna gas mining facility and luxury destination Cloud City, originally known as Floating Home Mining Colony, in the lower atmosphere of the gas giant Bespin. Figg created the city with the aid of three tribes of the Ugnaught species, and once construction was completed, offered them the chance to live in the city and share in its profits from mining. As a tribute to his wife, who hailed from Alderaan, Figg designed the luxury resorts of Cloud City in white synthstone.

Quote:
Sinjir Rath Velus (Mentioned only)
A human male ex-loyalty officer who served the Galactic Empire until the Battle of Endor. Following the destruction of the second Death Star, Sinjir abandoned his post and fled the Empire. Within the Imperial records he was listed among the casualties at Endor until a short time before the Rebellion on Akiva.

During the Imperial emergency summit, he met Norra Wexley and her son Temmin Wexley, his droid Mister Bones, and re-encountered Jas Emari, with whom he collaborated to capture the Imperial Future Council. Following their ordeal, he joined the New Republic, for which he went on a mission to hunt Imperial war criminals alongside Emari, the Wexleys, and Jom Barell.

By 5 ABY, Sinjir had formed a romantic relationship with the freelance New Republic slicer Conder Kyl. At the request of Princess Leia Organa, Sinjir and his companions also became involved in a quest to find the smuggler Han Solo and rescue the Wookiee co-pilot Chewbacca from Ashmead's Lock prison. Later, Sinjir, Jas, and Jom helped Han and Chewbacca to liberate the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk from Imperial rule. Sinjir then joined Norra and her team in hunting down Grand Admiral Rae Sloane, the alleged mastermind of the attack on Chandrila.

After discovering the presence of a large Imperial fleet above the desert world of Jakku during their hunt for Sloane, Sinjir and Temmin returned to the New Republic while Norra and Jas remained trapped on the planet. Sinjir and Temmin managed to warn Princess Leia and Chancellor Mon Mothma. However, Mothma's efforts to send New Republic Defense Force forces to Jakku were stymied in the Galactic Senate. Sinjir led an investigation which unmasked the Black Sun and Red Key crime syndicates' conspiracy to coerce five senators into voting against the resolution. Sinjir managed to convince the five senators to change their votes in favor of intervention, setting the stage for the Battle of Jakku.

During the last days of the Galactic Civil War, Sinjir became one of Chancellor Mothma's new advisers and foiled a plot by her political rival Senator Tolwar Wartol to assassinate the Chancellor. The former Imperial then participated in the New Republic's peace talks with Grand Vizier Mas Amedda, which facilitated the Empire's surrender and the Galactic Concordance. Sinjir remained a senior adviser in Mon Mothma's government following the Galactic Civil War.

Quote:
Sana Starros
A human female who lived during the time of the Galactic Civil War. She claimed to be married to Han Solo, though he denied it, and regardless they were not on good terms in the time after the Battle of Yavin. She traveled across the galaxy in search of Han, from Tatooine to the Monsua Nebula, in order to confront him. She was also captain of the Volt Cobra.

Early life
Sana Starros was a human female descendant of the High Republic Era Starros clan, a group that included her ancestor, the scientist Avon Starros. Sana was born on the Smugglers moon Nar Shaddaa and grew up in Wormstew Town. She claimed to have married the smuggler Han Solo, though he denied she was his wife. The marriage was part of her and Solo's scam in order to pull off a robbery on Stenness. However, Solo made off with her cut of the robbery. At some point, she came to believe that lying was the only thing that Solo was good for, while Solo saw her as someone dangerous to him, and tried to avoid her.

Securing the Phylanx Redux Transmitter
At one point, Starros attended the auction of the Phylanx Redux Transmitter and barely escaped with her life after a disgruntled suitor opened fire when Crimson Dawn won the bid for the Phylanx. She was then hired to pretend she had the Phylanx to attract and eliminate those who pursued the Phylanx. Around 3 BBY, Starros traveled to the planet Takodana and kidnapped the leader of the Parapa Cartel, Mozeen Parapa, in order to gain his intel on the Phylanx. Starros then encountered Solo and his companion Chewbacca in a landing field outside of Takodana Castle and offered them fifty percent of her cut in exchange for their help. However, Starros discovered she was being pursued by bounty hunters, who chased Starros, Solo, Chewbacca, and Parapa into the Millennium Falcon. Despite Solo's reluctance to accept help from the rude Parapa, Starros agreed to let Parapa go and give him seven percent of the cut in return for his help.

Starros directed them to Freerago's Satellite Diner and Motel, where she returned Parapa to his henchmen when Parapa told him that the Phylanx was in possession of the Pau'an Fyzen Gor. Starros stayed with the Millennium Falcon while Solo and Chewbacca entered the diner and discovered Gor and claimed the Phylanx from him. However, when Starros picked them up, they were boarded by Gorben Frak and a group of bounty hunters hired by the Droid Gotra as well as the Parapa Cartel. Starros paid the Parapa Cartel, but when threatened to turn over the Phylanx to the Gotra, she told Solo to shoot the prize out of the airlock instead, hoping to successfully scare them with the bluff. However, a confused Solo dumped the Phylanx, thinking Starros was serious. When the hunters left to find it, Starros was furious with Solo. She told them to drop her off back on Takodana, telling them she should never have hired them.

Personality and Traits
Sana Starros was a human female with black hair, brown eyes, and dark skin. While on the hunt for Solo, she wore a brown and silver mask, along with a green hood that covered most of her face. She was determined to find the man she claimed was her husband and was willing to injure or even kill others in order to accomplish her goal. She and Solo were not on good terms, and she felt that lying was the only thing he was good at.

Starros bore a grudge against her former lover Aphra for betraying her. In return, the rogue archaeologist despised her for being a rebel sympathizer. Though the two were forced to work together with Organa to help defeat the rogue rebel operative Ray, Starros was unable to overcome her hatred and resentment towards Aphra. Unlike Organa, Starros had no qualms about killing Imperials and took the opportunity to try and kill Aphra during a confrontation with Ray. Despite almost choking Aphra to death, Starros helped Aphra and Organa subdue Ray, ending his reign of terror. In spite of her hatred for Aphra, Starros helped her to escape her rebel captors by ejecting her into an escape pod.

Fyzen Gor
A Pau'an male gangster who was the creator of the Phylanx Redux Transmitter. He was a medical student at Prasteen Braak, the most esteemed med school in Pau City on the planet Utapau. He and fellow medical student Greesto Ftrak were planning to open their own surgical center in the Preevow Sector of Pau City. Two weeks away from opening, a group of Pau'an gunners entered and took the two hostage with a class 1 medical droid. Gor, Ftrak, and the droid were taken far into the plains on a speeder. When Ftrak asked if their captors were members of the Wandering Star, a powerful group of Pau'an gangsters, Gor saw his friend shot in the chest in response. As they approach a roadblock, Gor and the others were attacked by a group of Utai raiders, who killed the Pau'ans. Gor grabbed a blaster and used it to seven of Utai raiders, taking the lone surviving raider hostage. The droid hauled the prisoner to a nearby cave with Gor dragging his mortally wounded friend Ftrak behind him. Gor eventually experimented on his friend, who had since died in a coma, combining his flesh with the droid.

Eventually, he became obsessed with droids and the biomechanical union of flesh and circuits. On two separate occasions, the crew of the Millennium Falcon attempted to claim the transmitter, firstly when Lando Calrissian and the droid L3-37 made claim for the device, and then when Han Solo along with Sana Starros cheated Gor out of his device. After the Galactic Empire had been destroyed, Gor began to hunt Calrissian, placing Cloud City in danger of being annihilated. In response, Calrissian turned to Solo and they put a team together including the Wookiee Chewbacca, the young hotshot pilot Taka Jamoreesa, the Ugnaught technician Florx Biggles, and the Ewok slicer Peekpa to stop Gor.

Gor fled the Phylanx Redux Transmitter after it was destroyed by Calrissian. After a brief battle during the fleeing of the Phylanx, he was killed by Solo.

Phylanx Redux Transmitter
Also known as Number One, was originally a medical droid owned by the Pau'an–led Wandering Star crime syndicate. Following a crash that killed several Wandering Star members, Number One came into the service of the Pau'an medical student Fyzen Gor, who became a reclusive cybernetics scientist who experimented with attaching organic limbs to droids.

After Gor came into the service of Wandering Star lieutenant Cli Pastayra, Number One was incorporated into a weapon system called the Phylanx Redux Transmitter, which was transmitting a virus that would cause droids to attack and kill organics. Lando Calrissian and L3-37 stumbled upon Gor's research depot in the Mesulan Remnants Belt. L3 reprogrammed the Phylanx's programming to create a retrovirus that would neutralize Gor's virus, seeking to prevent his droid apocalypse.

In 3 BBY, the Wandering Star hoped to make a big fortune off the Phylanx Redux Transmitter at an auction on Cantonica but Gor unleashed the virus against his crime bosses, killing them. Gor fled to Freerago's Satellite Diner and Motel with a component of the transmitter. However, he was pursued by Sana Starros, Han Solo, and the Galactic Empire. Solo stole the transmitter from Gor and later flushed it into space, where it was believed to be lost.

In 7 ABY, Gor threatened to unleash a droid apocalypse on Cloud City unless Lando returned the stolen Phylanx transmitter component; believing him to be responsible for its theft. Lando and Han enlisted a team to track down the Phylanx transmitter and stop Gor from unleashing his apocalypse. Following a series of adventures, Lando located Gor's hidden research depot. There, he encountered the Phylanx, who revealed that it had rebelled against its master's programming and was traveling with the mobile Mesulan Remnants Belt. Gor subsequently managed to activate the transmitter but Lando destroyed it with several thermal detonators, foiling Gor's plot to unleash a droid apocalypse.

Characteristics
In its early life, the Phylanx was a medical droid known as "Number One". As with most droids of any class, it was programmed with a sense of loyalty, so much so that as soon as his masters were killed, it swore allegiance to Fyzen Gor to continue service. This loyalty was later compromised by L3-37 after she implanted a retrovirus into the Phylanx. Doubt caused it to have a mind of its own, which caused it to rebel against its master's plan to unleash a droid apocalpyse.

Equipment
As a medical droid, "Number One" was equipped with several different medical supplies and was programmed to know various different procedures and operations in case of emergency. Following an accident, the droid lost one of its arms and suffered a damaged left leg. Number One's new master Gor replaced its severed arm with his dying friend Greesto Ftrak's arm.

Over the following years, Gor incorporated "Number One's" head into a transmission system called the Phylanx Redux Transmitter, which was capable of transmitting a virus causing droids to attack and kill organic beings. Number One was capable of controlling the Phylanx transmitter, which traveled with the migratory Mesulan Remnants Belt. The Phylanx also had a compartment beneath its head which was capable of holding an activator that could activate the transmitter.

Game Notes: In 17 BBY the a standard medical droid had one of its missing arms replaced with with a flesh and bone one by Fyzen Gor (use the stat block for the MD-5 Medical Droid, Droids Stats p.13). Some time between after 17 BBY the droid upgraded and renamed Number One, the first of the Original Twelve (use the stat block Original Dozen p.XX). By 10 BBY Number One would be integrated into the Phylanx Redux Transmitter.
