That's right. I'm looking at the Shadows of the Empire Sourcebook right now and the Emperor has a total of 18D, Vader 20D. Emperor has 4D+1 in Knowledge and Perception but that's because HE's the Emperor. |

Keep in mind 18D is for a starting characters attributes. Characters can increase attributes during play by investing CP and training. Most likely, powerful NPCs will have done this over time.

I know that, but if you check out WEG's movie character's stats, very, very few have over 18D in attributes... even though they're very experienced and powerful characters. So keeping the attributes at 18D or close makes it more in tune with WEG's take on NPCs.

Skaff, I don't know if this helps, but I've downloaded the tales of the jedi comics, if you need them for your sourcebook I'll be glad to share it.

They're not in pdf format, .cbr and .cbz if I'm not mistaken, that can be visualized through a software called CDisplay.

It going down time with the book. With the holidays and new year I had less time then I had expected. And now I'm busy with the home-work. (Major home-work!  )

Don't sweat it. Take this project lightly, doing little bits whenever you have some spare time.
BTW, I haven't forgotten about the droid conversions, I've already done a couple of them, and will keep on doing them...
