PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Roth is a very tall human male with broad shoulders, highly muscular build, and chiseled features. He has long, thick blue-black hair that he often wears pulled back or in a pony tail. Roth usually dresses in a midnight blue vest, black pants and boots, with a floor-length hooded black cloak, rather than traditional Jedi robes. When situations call for the more formal attire, his robes are in these colors rather than the traditional shades of brown.

BACKGROUND: Roth has always been big for his age. He displayed an early aptitude for hand-to-hand combat, seeming to always be able to deal with an opponent without seriously hurting them. When it was discovered that he was Force-sensitive, his parents readily agreed to send him to be trained. Under the tutelage of the great Jedi master swordsmen he has flourished, taking quickly to the forms of armed and unarmed combat. His size and strength have given him advantages in these areas. He possesses a grace that belies his bulk, further adding to his prowess in battle. These abilities are tempered with a kind heart, making him less likely to simply rush off into battle. Roth remains constantly aware that he walks a fine line between the light and dark sides of the Force, as all Jedi Warriors before him have, and is resolute in his devotion to the light side.

Superior depth perception: Due to the Krath Advanced War Droid's array of photoreceptors it has superior depth perception and gains a +1D bonus to all applicable skills.
Multi-spectrum vision: The Krath Advanced War Droid's array of photoreceptors view infrared and ultraviolet spectrums as well as human ranges simultaneously.
Nannite repair: The Krath Advanced War Droid has this special ability at 2D. It may spend character points to improve this ability as if it were a normal skill. The Krath Advanced War Droid rolls to regenerate after being wounded as an organic being would, using these skill dice instead of the strength attribute - but turn “days” into “hours”. So, if the Krath Advanced War Droid has been wounded it rolls after three standard hours instead of three standard days to see if it heals. In addition,
the Krath Advanced War Droid’s condition cannot worsen (and if it is mortally wounded it cannot die by rolling low).
Dull grey in colour, with long seemingly frail looking limbs the krath advanced war droid is vaguely humanoid in appearance. It's head resembles a sphere that has been fused to a five pointed star. The star's points taper to a point just above the spine where they weave into a long braid like tendril. This tendril is tipped by a small photoreceptor and a claw like blade (think like the weapons of the FIDO system) The center of the star/head is dominated by a single red photoreceptor and each of the points has an additional two blue photoreceptors, one above the other.
The body has a disquietingly organic feel to it, as though a humanoid skeleton was overlaid with woven tendrils and geometric support frames that strengthen the structure. The krath advanced war droid is equally mobile using quadrupedal and bipedal motion however when moving bipedally it is hunched, the enlarged shoulders giving it a somewhat predatory appearance.
None, the krath advanced war droid has yet to be activated. Once activated it may develop a personality as it's creative cognitive matrix assimilates information.
The krath advanced war droid is a prototype, the first of it's kind. It is unaware of the history of it's own development. It has no serial number and no real individual model number as it has not been mass produced from a production line.

Background: Reylan Octhar was hatched above his home planet of Duros on an orbital space city. As many of his kind, Reylan loved exploring his environment, and would love retelling his adventures to his fellow kids (Never within earshot of a parent, of course). His parents both worked at the famous Duros shipyard, his father was highly placed, and he managed an entire section of the shipyard. Because of this, Reylan would be able to get away with "borrowing" some of the lift equipment, various speeders, and small star craft. He was quite good at flying things, sometimes flying things that were not meant to fly. His parents noticed this ability, and while most of the time he was not supposed to be flying in the first place, encouraged his love for flying. It was a common trait amongst Duros, but it seemed that Reylan had a real gift for flying, above even that standard to the race.
It was at a very early age that a Jedi from the Order came to Duros on an unrelated mission that Reylan ran into him, literally. Running around the corner, the little Duros ran into the Jedi master. The Jedi master, named Corkef Tarktrin, sensed latent force ability in Reylan. He was taken from his home and brought to Ossus to start his training. A master was assigned, Master Tarktrin, noticed his flying ability, and encouraged those tendencies.
Reylan was given flying lessons and mastered the art quickly. He went on various missions with his master, each usually testing his flying ability in different ways. A few years later he was approached by the people in R&D, who wanted him to be a test pilot for new Jedi starships. He readily agreed (With permission of his master), wanting to fly the fastest and the best ships. It was here that all his flights were under rigorous scrutiny, looking for signs of the ships failing. Through this scrutiny it was discovered that he had reflexes surpassing those of normal Duros. This fact was especially clear when one test design failed horribly.
A new design with amazing engines were installed a radical new ship design. It looked something sweet and Reylan did not think twice saying yes to fly it. It passed all the basic maneuvers, and even the advanced ones in a controlled environment. They brought it to a small hyperspace test, and little did he know this fried one of the key circuits for timing the exit to hyperspace. The return trip was a near disaster. The ship came out of hyperspace right in the middle of the crowded space dock, civilian ships everywhere. This malfunction caused a chain reaction in the engines, causing them to accelerate to max and not except input. Reylan was threading this speeding demon with speeds in excess of 1500 km/h through a crowded space port. He knew where the defenses were, so he headed in that direction The world around him seemed to slow down to a near crawl, his hands moving the ship right where he needed to go to avoid collisions. After about a minute of intense flying, with 100s of near misses, most by less than a meter, the ship was hit by ion fire and tractored into safety. Drenched in sweat, he got out of the cockpit expecting to see the end of a barrel until the situation got resolved, but found that he was being cheered for his feat in flying. The testing company graciously allowed Reylan to take a much needed vacation, so he borrowed a ship and headed off to visit home for a bit.
Upon his return home, Reylan found some of the orbital cities in disarray. There was an assault underway, and they were attacking civilian craft, murdering them all as they tried to flee. Without thinking Reylan dove into the fray, knowing full well he had but a simple laser cannon on the front of his ship. Anything that he could do to help the civilians escape would be a win in his eyes. He flew in guns blazing, catching one ship off guard, exploding it instantly. But that got the attention of 6 other attacking craft that all vectored in towards Reylan. Reylan did not give up the offensive, and continued to attack enemies trying to slaughter civilians getting more and more ships on his tail. He then set a course for the firing zone of the ion cannons of the station, hoping they were still active. As he got in range, they opened up on his pursuers, disabling the lot of them in short order. The tide of the battle had shifted, and the victor went to the defenders. It was a Sith attack, and there was casualties close to home. Both his parents were killed in a structural collapse in the section that Reylan was leading the pursuing craft. It was their misses that caused the damage to the station, so it was directly Reylans fault that his parents died. As a Jedi, he was not allowed to spend the time he wanted to grieve, so he paid his respects and moved on. The R&D people came to him again, this time from Kuat Drive Yards with a radical new design for Jedi pilots. It was a fast interceptor, and they wanted it tested on the front line of the fight with the current Sith war. This is what lead him to his current companions…
Personality: Usually very quiet, unless reconting one of his flights. Friendly once you get to know him, but apprehensive to start off with. Never thinks twice to fly into danger when his friends are at risk.

Tobias is a good-natured and kind individual who is always looking for knowledge. He is quick to listen and also quick to share an observation or a historical anecdote.Tobias served well as a jedi for many decades, though as time went by, others seemed to surpass him in physical skill. Tobias began shifting more toward the study and teaching of the jedi way. He never achieved the rank of master, which is still a sore subject with him. Somewhat disenchanted, but mostly wanting something new, Tobias retired and disappeared into the galaxy. He turned up as a history professor on Taris, where until recently, he had managed to keep his jedi pas secret.
