Yes congratulations on more internets but less employment is not fun.

Has the KAWD got enough information to drive to where the group is or was Ali unable to supply enough information for the KAWD to make an informed decision on where to go?

The KAWD should remember he bridge it, Reylan, Giric, and Arek crossed leaving the Red Claw base.

"There's no way this is going to get us all out of the Lower City," she announces. "Lhosan developed the Slicer-class airspeeders to be high performance two man vehicles, not passenger haulers. You can maybe get away with carrying two passengers, though performance suffers. Any more than two passengers and these things might as well be landspeeders. So you have another idea how to get us all out of here?"

Roth will make three passengers. You can move the airspeeder to the Phyrd coupe Roth discovered at a few meters above the ground, but you've also got the incapacitated Daevon and Tobias to move.

Vong, you did say you would take several rounds to get receptive telepathy up. Nothing about using projective telepathy though you did say Reylan was going to attempt projecting. So you took several round (four) on receptive telepathy and succeeded. You failed to bring up projective telepathy.

Ok, need to know what you guys want to do. Giric told the KAWD to either find their ship or some other way off Taris. But before that you had:

Hellcat wrote:
"Sgt. Torp to dispatch," a voice suddenly blairs from the front dash, "have spotted two of the Sith prisoners that were exiled to the Undercity. The Anomid and the human female have escaped the Undercity and have stolen a CV-807 Slicer-class airspeeder. They are currently in the Middle City traveling west from shaft 507-A1-12. Request assistance"

The KAWD made a mention about Torp which:

Hellcat wrote:
Quin-Tain, Roth, KAWD

The KAWD's mention of Sgt. Torp trigger's a memory from the Undercity.

"No, as soon as you left, your Sgt. What's-his-name came in and told me it was time to go. He escorted me out of there and put me in a speeder..." Tobias said, his eyes going wide as if realizing something. "That's it! He was in the speeder ahead of me, and just before we got ambushed, his speeder peeled off and left."

Tobias mulls things over for a moment before continuing.

"I think she's telling the truth. The Sith we are looking for just might be that Sgt. with the TCA!"

"Was a being known as Sgt. Torp a blond man with green eyes involved in the the shiping of Being Tobias or Being Bastilda?" the KAWD asks "The being known as Sgt. Torp has already been caught in one lie as that being claimed Being Syllri escaped from custody but that did not happen."

"It was him!" Tobias exclaims. He then turns to Bastilda. "My humblist apologies."

"Sgt. Nir Torp, a Sith?" Bastilda asks, shocked by the allegation. "He's been one of my best officers for the past two years. How could he be a Sith, he's arrested more members of the Red Claws and the Exchange here on Taris than anyone else on the force."

"This is not our first run in with the Red Claws. We battled a number of them on Exis Station.However...it is more than coincidence that they just happen to be smack in the middle of our kriffing business again. And that they are the ones who attempted to kill the good professor here. That Sgt. Torp peeled off and left him to his fate seems to seal up who the Sith agent is here on Taris...at least, who a prominent figure is who happens to be Sith or one of their agents."
Roth smirks. He then hooks his lightsaber back to his belt, inclining his head. "My apologies, constable."

At that moment there is a disturbance that sound's like it comes from the direction of the Outcast Village gate. Quin-Tain and Giric set off to find out what it is, followed shortly by Roth. After a few minutes they return with Arek. Thre's some conversation about who is on the team and whether or not they can be trusted. Reylan asking a question of Bastilda concerning a part of the clue they found in the Undercity. Then they remember Arek's answering a question of Tobias's.

"There's a gang called the Red Claws---they've been a problem before---and they're after you. Their leader is a ruthless Nikto called Prit Orn, but I think that's an alias. He's really bad news; I saw him cut off another Rodian's head with a sword yesterday, right in front of me. He's got a dirty cop in the TCA on his payroll or something. Nir Torp. I'm not sure why he's so important, but Orn acted really weird when he said his name...and Prit Orn is an anagram of Nir Torp. That's why I think Prit Orn is an alias or something. I've been stranded here since I left Tatooine with Qel-droma, but I've been watching and following the Red Claws since not long after I got here. They're up to something big here on Taris; they're working for the Sith or the Krath, or both, but I don't know what they're up to yet."

"Prit Orn as Sgt. Torp. Sgt. Torp is human, not Nikto"

"No, they wouldn't be the same person, not the way Orn was talking about Torp. But it can't be a coincidence that he has some sort of sway over the guy, AND he's using a name that's an anagram for Torp's, right?"

Roth mentioned the possibility of Torp being a Humanin a Nikto disguise.

Quin-Tain was able to use Reylan's using the Force to get him a message concerning Syllri and Ailyn's predicament so he and Arek know what's going on there. And Arek did manage to determine from the flimsy map he found that the airshaft going up from the Red Claw base is Cargo Transport Air Traffic Shaft 507-A1-12. So they know how to reach that point.

The team in the limo converted to cargo truck had this discussion

Hellcat wrote:

Roth, Quin-Tain, KAWD

"You're not going to go straight for your ship at this point," the constable says matter-of-factly. "Right now we're still in the Lower City. First we need to get to the Middle City. At this point we only have Red Claws looking for us, but your little Mando and Syllri are already in the Middle City from the sound of Torp's assistance request. So their going to have Taris Civil Authority officers looking for them, and given how I've run the TCA you can expect that someone is already saying if those two escaped the Undercity then what's the odds more than them escaped. Which means the TCA may soon put out a bolo for the rest of your team.

"But we are in the Lower City. The TCA doesn't come down here in any kind of force any more so crime is slowly taking over down here. And don't try blaming me for the lack of patrols. Taris is a humancentric planet, the government forced most nonhumans to live down here long ago and could care less if they kill each other. Unless there's a major gang battle, the TCA's biggest concern in the Lower City is to make certain rakghoul don't enter the Lower City so we mostly hold all known entrances to the Undercity and only allow for folks with proper clearance into the Undercity. At least that is what is supposed to happen, though I've been having to deal reports of officers being bribed down here to look the other way. Still, most officers down here are unlikely to be sent to look for us and the TCA is going to be more concerned about our reaching the Middle City than running loose in the Lower City.

"Once we reach the Middle City we'll have to keep an eye out for both TCA and Red Claws, though the Red Claws are less and less active the further up you go as there is two concerns for them. One being most Red Claws are nonhumans so they blend in less and less. Nonhumans in the Upper City are much more likely to be harassed than they are in the Middle City. And those in the Middle City tend to be of a better social class than those down here in the Lower City. They look like they might be gang members, their more likely to be noticed. The other concern for the Red Claws is the TCA is more and more active the further up you go and gets better and better equipped.

"We get through the Middle City then we have to deal with the Upper City. Now once in the Upper City I would consider heading straight for where your ship is. It's absolutely stupid to head there, only someone without any real intelligence would head for a ship the TCA would be likely to watch. Those with any real brains would more likely look to find another way off planet, probably steal a ship from another location.

"Which is exactly why you should head for your ship. It's the exact opposite of what is expect of you. You manage to reach the Upper City I can almost certainly promise you the TCA is going to send forces to the various spaceports and private landing pads to apprehend you. The TCA thinks your Sith and thinks you were stupid enough to come here pretending to be Jedi, but that doesn't mean they think you're completely lacking in intelligence."

She stops and thinks about it for a moment then nods.

"You might want to set off a distraction first before you board your ship and make your get away. Even though most TCA officers will be sent to other starports, there will still be a residual guard force and if they see you coming they could get off a warning before you board your ship. Then you'll be assured of having to deal with TCA planetary and space forces before you can get off planet.

"I expect Trunolph is going to go straight for your ship. But then as you have witnessed, he can sneak about undetected. So he'll probably make it to the ship without the TCA even knowing he's there."

Esoomian wrote:
"This unit suggests heading towards the disturbance mentioned to meet up with the rest of the team and questions the wisdom of returning to the Raptor. Would it not be efficient for the authorities to remove key parts of the Raptor to ensure flight is no longer or possible while investigating private landing pads?"

Jedi Skyler wrote:
Roth listens to Bastilda intently, glad to have someone well-versed in TCA procedures working with them. When she's finished, he asks, "Is there any chance you'd be able to help redirect TCA forces to aid in our escape?"

Hellcat wrote:
KAWD, Roth, Quin-Tain

"Your ship still has Republic registry which states it is a Republic Security Forces courier," Bastilda tells the KAWD. "Officially Taris wants to remain neutral in this war between the Republic and the Sith. While we do not recognize the Sith as a government of any kind, we are not willing to side with the Republic against the Sith as well. That means that any Republic ship stolen by the Sith or their allies ends up on our planet we will return it to it's proper owners intact. And as Taris thinks you're Sith, that means that the Republic should be contacted to send out a representative to retrieve your ship.

"Unofficially certain high level officials will probably either wait so much time before contacting the Republic about the ship or they will deliberately misappropriate the paperwork pertaining to the ship so they can keep it for themselves. And they will want it to be in working order. As per regulations lockout devices will have been put in place to keep anyone from boarding the ship while it is in TCA impound. Once the time for retrieval has based the lockout devices will be removed and the ship put up for sale. Without the proper codes, getting aboard the ship before the lockout devices can be removed is impossible short of either slicing the code or taking the device apart. And taking the device apart would require someone technologically skilled enough to bypass the remote theft alert system."

She then turns her head towards Roth and contemplates things for a moment.

"Maybe," the constable says after some thought. "You have to remember that someone dumped me in the Undercity to get rid of me for some reason. I don't actually know who that was and who I can trust in the TCA. It's possible even I have been claimed to be a Sith agent now, no one in the TCA is supposed to know I am a Jedi, as far as anyone on Taris is supposed to be concerned I'm just another Tarisian immigrant who has not only made Taris her home but has been working for years now to uphold the laws of Taris. Though a few do know I am Force-sensitive as I was involved in the creation of the Force-inhibitor collars

"But then I suppose someone may have figured that if I was Force-sensitive that maybe I was a Jedi too. And as they appear to have been trying to eliminate all Jedi on Taris....."

She leaves the thought left unsaid and climbs into the back of the vehicle that brought the KAWD and Giric.

Jedi Skyler wrote:
Roth nods. "I was thinking that, even though you were dumped down below, it's possible that whomever was responsible may have left your accounts and authorizations intact, thus giving them access to sensitive data and systems from which they may previously have been barred." He shrugs. "It's even possible they could have somehow logged some reference to an extended undercover operation you were embarking on; that would leave your access intact, give a plausible reason for you being incommunicado and not reporting in for work, and if whoever's responsible either is, or has access to, a skilled enough slicer, they might then be able to remotely access your systems - which would appear as you doing so undercover - and would then be free to do whatever they wished. I realize this may sound far-fetched, but you are - or were - a constable in good standing before you were exiled. It would not be an easy feat to snatch you without anyone noticing. Either we're dealing with consummately skilled individuals, or that was an inside job. The latter would make my idea much more plausible, and much more likely that our foes either have a complete knowledge of what's going on with our ship, or complete control over those events.

"The underlying thought behind all that is that, if your access hasn't been terminated, you may be able to remotely access your systems and, hopefully, give us some sort of edge."

About the same time this is going on

"Well, we said we would be meeting up with someone around that shaft, so the best bet is to find a place to turn this rig around". He begins looking for a place where he can safely join the opposite lane of traffic.

Hellcat wrote:

Reylan notes the traffic is only moving in one direction. In fact as he thinks of it he can't remember seeing the traffic move in two directions since they entered the ramp. Ahead the traffic begins to start moving again, if at least only for a little while.

The KAWD asked for a destination which was when Giric said the sip or some other way off the planet. The KAWD was driving as best as it can to the ship, asking for directions.

So at the moment most of the team are still in the Lower City; Reylan and Arek are somewhere between the Middle City and Lower City with it looking like Reylan is looking to get back down to the Lower City toreturn to the airshaft at the Red Claw base; Syllri and Ailyn look to be getting into trouble in the Middle City; there's questions about who Torp is; Cailum, that stealthy Jedi Master, is pulling an Obi-Wan aboard the Death Star and sneaking about unnoticed (he get's to a turbolift he can reach the Upper City much sooner than the rest of the team and may already have), and it looks like because of Giric only Reylan and Arek may be tryng to help Syllri an Ailyn.

Need to know what you guys want to do.

At this stage the KAWD has been instructed to go to the ship and it seems the KAWD is also the designated driver for team limo so the KAWD is heading back to the ship as best it can.

It will keep listening to the police scanner to attempt to identify potential traffic snarls and the like but for now it will attempt to avoid any incidents rather than help or anything of that nature.

As I recall the KAWD is as unarmed as it is possible to be without deconstruction. So in the event of hosilities it's most accessible weapon is the vehicle but the KAWD must also protect those inside the vehicle so the KAWD will be attempting to 'fly casual'

Roth thinks he's onto something about the constable's access not having been severed. Although there's always the possibility of a trap, she should theoretically know the system inside and out - ESPECIALLY since she's a Jedi operating while attempting to keep the fact secret, since she'll need every edge she can get. Therefore, she OUGHT to be able to at least recognize if the system has been tampered with. He'll suggest that she try to access the system remotely, urging her to use any back doors or tricks she might possibly have hidden up her sleeves.

If I recall correctly, I communicated with Quin-Tain to meet up to help Syllri back at the shaft.

My goal is to keep tabs on Quin-Tain and Syllri in hopes of re joining the party Smile

I can always poke Ankhanu to get back on here to keep playing Quin-Tain
