Background: Trachta was a brilliant and calculating Republic tactician during the Clone Wars, serving as both an instructor at the Republic Military Academy and a direct agent of Chancellor Palpatine. His service ended in tragedy when a rogue Jedi Padawan maimed him with a thermal detonator. Rebuilt with advanced cybernetics, Trachta returned to serve the newborn Empire, rising to Grand Moff of the Imperial Center Oversector. While fiercely loyal to the New Order, his mistrust of Sith rule led him to conspire against Palpatine and Vader in a bold but doomed attempt to return control of the Empire to rational, secular leadership.
Personality: Cold, calculating, and driven by a deep need for order and justice—at least as he defines them. He views Force-users as destabilizing elements and believes that only military pragmatism can ensure lasting peace. Despite his ruthlessness, he holds a strong personal code of honor, disdaining betrayal and treachery even as he plots in secret.
Objectives:
To see the Sith removed from Imperial power and install a council of loyal military leaders. To restore order and discipline to a chaotic galaxy by any means necessary.
