One of the many conversions I have been working on from the Saga books. This one from Galaxy of Intrigue p.214-215.
Quote: | Sith Descendant
After thousands of years of inbreeding, the descendants of the original Sith who crashed on Nyriaan have become twisted and subhuman. Caring only for satisfying their immediate desires, the Sith are not particularly subtle. They stink of corruption, a smell that is only partly physical and thoroughly spiritual.
Although Human in form, these wretched beings are twisted and deformed in ways that confound the imagination. Wearing makeshift robes and homespun clothing, they reek of filth and physical corruption. They howl like beasts, wave their spears threateningly, and growl in a tongue that sounds as evil as they look.
Sith Descendant: all stats 2D except for: brawling parry 4D+1, melee combat 5D, melee parry 4D+1, Knowledge 1D, intimidation 4D, survival 3D+2, willpower 4D, Perception 3D, search 4D+1, sneak 4D, Strength 3D, brawling 5D+1, climbing/jumping 4D+2, stamina 4D. SA: Low-Light Vision: Can see clearly in dim light and moonlight without penalty, Ferocity: When reduced to half health or lower, gain +1D to all attacks, Resist Pain: resist stun and wound effects, Primal Force Affinity: Can instinctively sense nearby Force-sensitives. FS: Control 4D+1, Alter 5D+1, C: Dark rage, surge, A: Force thrust. Move: 10. Character Points: 6. Dirty robes, fetid beads and bones, spear (STR+1D) or pulse wave pistol (4D damage, 3-8/20, unreliable). |
Quote: | Dark Rage (Dark Side)
Control Difficulty: Moderate
This power may be kept up.
Effect: Enhances Strength-based melee attacks with rage-driven aggression. The user gains +2D to Strength-based attacks (brawling, melee combat) and damage. The user cannot perform any action except attacking or charging while using this power. |
Quote: | Force Thrust
Alter Difficulty: Moderate
Effect: Uses the Force to knock an enemy back violently. The target is violently pushed back up to 10 meters. Treat as 4D impact damage vs. the target’s Strength for knockdown only (not wound damage unless they hit a hazard).
0–4: knocked prone
5–9: thrown 2–3 meters
10+: thrown long distance or into danger
+5 difficulty for each additional target beyond the first.. |
Quote: | Surge
Control Difficulty: Easy
Effect: Grants a burst of speed or heightened reflexes. Increases the user’s Move by +5 and adds +1D to initiative rolls. This is a utility power for closing distance or escaping quickly. |

The Force powers you listed here - dark rage, Force thrust, and surge - seem a lot like rage, Force push, and enhance attribute/burst of speed. Maybe they could have the listed powers as prerequisites.
If the target gets hurt by Force thrust, shouldn't the character receive a DSP? |

The idea is these are twisted sith interbreeding with local natives over 1,000s of years. They are now savages with little memory of their past. The Force powers are more like vestiges of their Dark Force powers and hence are not as powerful as the Force powers we traditionally have. Part of the reason I did not include any prerequisites for them. They are more geared towards their uniqueness in the Force than actual powers. Though there is no reason these skills could not be researched, learned from a teacher, holocron or tomes.

As above the power is something unique to this group and their twisted connection to the Force. Its a natural affinity than an actual powers but it made sense to create them as a Force power allowing others to use and adapt them to their games. You are correct if the power is used in anger or to purposefully hurt and does so it could be an instance of a Dark Side Point. As these creatures are already fully embraced by the Dark Side and did not envision these powers as readily available for learning in a game, didn't put that level of though into its full mechanics in the majority of instances or used by Light Side Force users.
I appreciate the comments and funny, I knew you would be the first to comment on the Force powers when I posted. Thank you sir! _________________ Don Diestler
