Mine was Palladium Fantasy, which was far too advanced for me back then.
My second was WEG's Star Wars 2nd Edition.
After that, I tried to get the group interested in Shadowrun, but we ended up having Cyberpunk 2020 instead. |

Shadowrun was wonderful. Always loved that system. Did you enjoy Cyberpunk? _________________ Aha! |

I started GMing it when I moved to Winnipeg, then started writing for it. |

AD&D back in 1979 at my dad's friend's house.
My first purchase was the Holmes edition (1979), but I quickly moved to AD&D.
I played Traveller by 1982.
After that it was a blur of Gamma World (1st ed), Top Secret, Marvel Superheroes, Palladium Super Heroes, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Other Strangeness, and Middle-earth Role Playing Game (MERP). I owned SW 1st ed, but never played it.
I took a 15 year break from 1987 to 2002.
Starting in 2003 It was back on with
Decipher's Lord of the Rings, Castles & Crusades, D&D 3.5 (ug!), ICONS Super Hero rpg, Starblazers Adventures (FATE), B/X D&D, SW 1st ed, and D&D 5E. |
