| I know it states Crew and Gunners, my qurestion are the gunnerr counted in addtion to the crew number or are the gunner numner included in the overall crew? |

Gunners are not included in crew number, they come in addition to the crew total.

Yup. IE 44 crew (20 skeleton+5), Gunners 14 indicates a total of 58 crew for that ship, NOT 30 crew + 14 gunners...
