Special Conditions:
-- Debt Laws: Individuals fleeing debt often face off-world pursuit and bounty placement. Several off-book bounty agencies operate out of Ahakista’s casinos.
-- Neutral Ground Clauses: Casino districts often act as non-aggression zones where bounty hunters and smugglers conduct deals. Violation of this etiquette risks expulsion or death.
-- Imperial Presence: Officially minimal but increased in recent years due to suspicion of rebel cells laundering money via casinos.

World Summary
Ahakista is an Outer Rim refuge planet known for its vibrant gambling culture, dusty vistas, and criminal underbelly. It’s a haven for those wanting to disappear, gamble away a fortune, or fence stolen goods. The Daystar Casino reigns supreme as the unofficial seat of power, where fortunes are won and lives are bought. Offworlders are common, but trust is not. The world’s dual nature—luxury on the surface, danger in the shadows—makes it a prime backdrop for criminal intrigue and bounty hunting.

System Summary
The Ahakista system is an underpatrolled Outer Rim system with a single inhabited planet and several asteroid belts rich in unclaimed salvage. While its remoteness makes it ideal for syndicates and bounty hunters, it is gaining Imperial scrutiny due to suspected rebel financing operations.

Adventure Idea: “All Bets Are Off”
A Dug named Gronson "Shifty" Takkaro, former operations manager of the Daystar Casino, has fled to Lothal with a datachip containing sensitive records that could expose a major criminal syndicate’s backdoor dealings with a rogue ISB officer. The players are hired by Daystar’s silent partner—or perhaps sent by Rebel contacts—to find out what was on the chip, retrieve it, and either destroy or reveal it. When the PCs arrive on Ahakista, they’ll have to navigate rival bounty hunters, a duplicitous pit-fighter promoter, and the casino’s AI-controlled security drones to make it out alive.
