I wasn't able to find some exact rules on the scale or strength of different type of buildings.
Has anyone taken a look to stat some up themselves? Or put thoughts to what type of buildings would fall under what scale? |

Typically what I go off is a Blast Door, which is STR 6D and cannot be damaged by character level weapons. Some extrapolation is required because this doesn't make a whole lot of sense as there are some man portable weapons that do upwards of 7D+2. So this makes sense if its speeder scale or walker scale. There would be a scale modifier but as its not moving and can be hit without a roll there is no reason to give scale to an inanimate object. So, the original STR 6 blast door is really either 8D (6D+2D) or 10D (6D+4D).
As for buildings, I figure out how resistant to a typical heavy blaster/blaster rifle 5D damage. So if its a a thin skinned steel shelter blaster bolts should cut through it quite easily, so give a STR 4D-5D. Say its a reinforced building that blasters can get through eventually, then its 6D-8D. Same for a heavily reinforced structure that requires heavy duty man portable or speeder scale weapons? Lets say we have a hardened building, depending on if speeder or walker scale weapons are required sat 8D-10D or as much as 12D. Hope that helps. _________________ Don Diestler

I think a crucial question here is, what would a damage chart for Buildings look like? _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.
