Interstellar Relocation Van
A long-haul repulsor van built for heavy moves between settlements and outposts. Its self-leveling bed, mag-clamps, and sealed cargo bay keep crates, habitat modules, or even small speeder pods locked down during rough weather and canyon crosswinds. The cab is cramped but rugged, with an old holo-nav puck and a string of “lucky” talismans hanging over the dash. Crews call it a “mover,” and it’s common on frontier worlds where roads are suggestions and maps are rumors.

Story hook. A relocation job looks routine—shift a wealthy collector’s “furniture” to a new cliffside compound—until a rival syndicate hits the convoy. The client’s furniture is actually contraband art looted from a Hutt retreat, and both the Empire and the syndicate want it back. The crew must keep the van rolling through dust squalls and switchback shelves while slicers spoof scanners and gunners fend off swoops riding their slipstream. If the van’s cargo bay takes a hit, the self-leveling bed gives them a crucial edge to keep the load from exploding into the canyon.
