One of my personal favourites is the Kazellis light freighter. I like how it spreads its wings, so to speak. Another is the DeepWater light freighter - it just looks like a little frog, and I find that adorable. I've also loved Dash Rendar's YT-2400 for a long, long time - mostly because it isn't the MFalcon, but still looks vaguely like it.

It would seem that I have a similar taste in light freighter aesthetics.

G'day all,

Some of you may remember me. I joined way back in 2003 when the forum first started. I haven't been on for many years, due to life.

I'm now married and a father of two boys (both love Star Wars), and have moved a couple of times before having my own place built.

So, yeah, G'day all Razz

Hi guys!

Came to this post to introduce myself.
Been reading the forum for months but never got to register till now. Several months ago I bought a used copy of STAR WARS (W.E.G.) 1st Edition (the very first, no add ons) to get a feel for the game and get myself into the world of roleplay.

Got 3 players. We've done Call of Cthulhu before and I was looking for something a bit less difficult to run for everybody. My players and myself are not experience in RPGs so we are all learning. We get together about once a month, some beers, some laughs.

You'll probably see me for now asking some stuff around the 1st edition area.

Anyway, thank you for accepting me in the forum!

May the force be with you.

Thanks jmanski.

By the way forgot to mention I am posting from the United Kingdom and my players are English, Welsh, Irish and Rumanian... But I am Spanish, so a bit mixed up here hahhaa.

The games so far have run smooth but yep language can be a bit of a challenge for me when reading and understanding rules Very Happy

Just joined and wanted to say hello. I used to run WEG 2E Star Wars (as well as Shatterzone from WEG) from about 1994-2003 before moving cross country. Haven't played or ran anything since then but recently decided I wanted to teach my wife to play and try to run a game via roll20 or just TeamSpeak with my old group. I lurked here many years ago and was thrilled to see these forums still around.

I've read through the new FFG games and I'm just not sure how to feel about them. They seem crunchy, but not in the ways that I enjoy (I don't like the vague range bands, vague starship encumberance and other stats, etc) so figured I would go back to what I know, or at least knew.

Anyway, glad to be here and happy gaming, all!

Welcome, Shadin!

I have many FFG SW books. I have played and also GMed it. Yes, it is oppressively crunchy. We're glad to have you back in the WEG world.

Best wishes getting your game going and I hope to hear about your adventures.

Hello,

Ran a a few WEG Star Wars games 15 years ago in collage. With the Force Awakens release my pathfinder group wanted to play star wars so I introduced them to WEG Star Wars. Which lead me here. It's been interesting reading the forums and you have a lot of good information here.

Rusharn, welcome to the Pit, and welcome back to D6! If you have any questions, we're here for you. And if you are so inclined, we'd love to hear about your game.
