*sigh* Yeah, I never got that one either. I did receive a consolation prize two years later, though:

I'm just trying to figure out which fast food place that is. Is that a KFC? I don't see any distinctive logos to tell me one way or another. _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies

Just repurchased the X-Wing and Tie Fighter flight sim games. I forgot how much I missed them. |

That one isn't displaying. I can 'view image' and it works, but only the broken image button appears in the post.
Funny meme, though! _________________ Aha! |

Which one? The one immediately above with Vader? I have seen what you are describing occasionally, but in this case it must be the difference between our respective browsers because it displays normally for me.
Thanks for the feedback though! I added a URL to the post so people have another option for seeing it. _________________ *

Too true. My location used to say 'Hoth Dakota'. Never did like the cold and I got it there in spades. -40 is no joke, folks. _________________ Aha! |

Holy jeebus, I'm a Mediterranean-blooded Argentine-born guy (who lives in DC on the East Coast of the US) and as such, I HATE the cold. And my father, who hates the cold at least as much as I do, always flies south to Argentina like a damn bird to flee the cold and never gets back before April. So I sympathize with your hatred of the cold, Pel. (But if one of us simply has to be stuck in the freezing Midwest, better you than me. ) _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies

Ugh. It warmed up today to 11° right now (high of 22° today), but we got a fresh dumping of snow last night so school is cancelled for the third day in a row. It's a good thing I work at home or my wife and I would have to miss a lot of work. I hope the dog can hold on until later when the street gets cleared to go outside.

I escaped to the Gulf coast five years ago and I'm not going back. No sir, had my fill of it and they can't make me return.

Funny story about that: We had a small dog, Chewie, in Hoth Dakota who had to go outside in winter. I opened the door and he leapt off the porch into a snow drift and vanished! I ran outside and peered down the doggie-shaped hole in the drift and there was Chewie about two feet down, just patiently waiting for me to get with the program and dig him out. I did so and we walked to a bare patch of ground a few yards away, completed his task, and returned to the warm house. He approached snow drifts cautiously after that. _________________ Aha! |
