And, aging as The Child does, he won't grow out of it too soon. |

The original Krayt Dragon bones are an Apatosaurus (or perhaps Brontosaurus!) skull and vertebrae.
Just in case anyone wants to know for miniatures terrain purposes.
The harpooners and such were good New Bedford whaling references, as well as a good Mad Max: Fury Road reference (which in itself was a whaling homage). I like how The Mandalorian is getting back into Star Wars' signature film history synthesis instead of the derailment into other territory that 7 out of 10 new Star Wars feature films have been. |

Without theorising too much.
We have The Mando and the child, they do in many ways represtent both the Mandalorian, and the Force.
We have a confirmed Ahsoka comming to the series.
We have the dark saber....
Could be seeing another pre Vizla type story, meaning we see the mando use the darksaber.......and maybe become a Pre Vizla type character? |

I was thinking of the Boba reveal.......what if it is a clone.
I can even maybe mention the "one" clone that would roughly fir the age.
now shave hair, and shave beard and you may look a few years younger.
I am thinking of TX-828 aka "Torrent"
As pr canon he is born AFTER the clone wars, this could 20 years later easily make him roughly in the late 40s, which could be a match.
I find it fun to specualte some at least, and "torrent" is an alternative, at least age and time wise
(yes like everyone else I am quite sure the man is in fact Boba) |

I'm voting for it being Rex. I think it would make sense for a former clone trooper to be watching from afar. I think Boba would be far more interested in getting his armor back. _________________ __________________________________
Before we take any of this too seriously, just remember that in the middle episode a little rubber puppet moves a spaceship with his mind. |

Well, it's been all but outright stated that the older, white haired-and-bearded Rebel SpecOp Trooper with General Solo on the Forest Moon Of Endor was Captain Rex going on one last mission. |

The other Star Wars fan at my office is happy for Boba and hoping for Sabine and Ahsoka to show up. Just for some dissension in opinion.
I enjoyed the first episode and TBH I'm just looking forward to seeing where the story goes, wherever that is. _________________ RR

Angry, bitter, graffitiing Sabine, I'm in for that!!!
And freaks Mando out just as much as the dude in the first episode did when she takes HER helmet off. |

Also, can I applaud Mandalorian Child Rearing Practices?
"In front of the kid?"
"He's seen worse." |

I might have to read those novels.
But even if the Mando had won, The Child would be witness to a murder (or at least a killing.). Then again, considering his time with Mando, as was said, "He's seen worse."
The Demon AT-ST comes to mind. |

The child has actually killed people, himself, by using the force on that flamethrower specialist. |
